ROKR iTunes Key Not Responding

i cudnt find specific instructionsfor p2k installation..becaz i am unable to get my rokr detected by p2k ..iss there any solution to copy the itune and java files in the phone besides p2k ..if yeh wich foldr...becaz my computer is detecting the flash card..itunes in my computer is detecting the flash card....files are tranferriing but i don know where to put the files in there..

so if any one can send me any link for instructions on p2k installation..

i hv tried so far:
1.turn phone off and on
2.format flash card
3.usb settings to fax/ modem..and back to memory card
4.un install the moto modem in xp and reinstall it from the i tunes files drvr
5.with and witout the sim card
need help plz..i can still return the phone but i don wanna return it
or if some one can tell me any other media playlist player then itunes..and how to put it in there

okay..this is the second time i hav exchanged my phone..
but atleast can anybody tell me how can i prevent deleting the itunes files..
cuz last 2 times i don know how they get deleted from my phone
now i tunes is working
ps my phone is still undetectable in p2k ..mpt etc

It sounds like you got the same problem as my friend's ROKR, under your games menu, is all your games are gone too?

SkyDemon, I've been trying to load java files to my SLVR using my usb min-sd reader. However I am having trouble trying to find the correct folder to put all the .jar files into. The closest thing I found was the KJAVA folder, and even then when I turn my phone back on there is nothing there on the SD card while in the games menu.

I've been searching around for about a week, and haven't found any help.

put the jar files in kjava folder.

go into the main menu/ games+apps you will see the install now, click on this and execute the jar files, you may need to switch storage device.

if you don't see anything, switch off your phone and on again.

btw , if you don't have the install now in the phone, then you cannot install java games this way.

I tried turning the phone off, then back on, next I goto the main menu/ my stuff/games & apps/ [Install New]

The Install New folder has nothing in it , even though there are plenty of jar files in my kjava folder

Btw my kjava folder was hidden in a odd assortment of folders on my mini-sd card while connected thru the usb card reader.

Motorola phones are such a pain in the *** to work on IMO.

try reformat your memory card with your phone. Menu, settings, phone statue, storage device, select "card", menu key, select format.

P.S. remember to backup your important files on your memory card first.

SKY DEMON....please send me the iTunes files too... I ran into the same problem with iTunes in ROKR E1...iTunes is not accessable with all java appliactions gone...

None of this is working right on my rokr. I guess I am going to have to go get a new one. what a pain in the rectum!, Still early, so I have a few hours to mess with it. I cant get those programs to see that there is a phone attached, al I can see really is the memory card.

Just went down and swapped out for a new one in 15 min at my local radio shack where I got mine. All in all even with its issues, it is a great phone for free when you sign up.

I didn't read all, If there is anyone still with problems in making iTunes button work again say it and I will explain how to recover it (since I had the same issue with three phones).

Try post #40, I just downloaded the files from there, but have not tried it yet.
I'm going to study how to do it as I am new to Moto, I have a bunch of Nokias all these years. good luck
