Here's an interesting observation: I tried the codes and although they worked it didn't seem to record any sound. In addition when I tried to use voice commands the phone restarted itself and I was only able to use voice commands after the restart.
i am totally stealing this from another forum (mobilereview.com forum) but is very useful .
during the call or even before the call
#*22671# -> AMR REC START [it starts to record an amr file]
#*22672# Stop AMR REC (File name: /a/multimedia/sounds/voice list/ENGMODE.amr)
#*22673# Pause REC
#*22674# Resume REC
#*22675# AMR Playback [the only way to play back, because the amr doesn't appear the d500's interface.}
#*22676# AMR Stop Play
and if you restart ur d500 ater recording the file shows up as ENGMODE.amr
in the sounds>voicelist folder
it plays back on my D600. It stores in the same folder as the voice recorder and plays with it too. Now i can record conversations however i dont have any voice commands function.
You can even type it during the conversation, just remember to turn off ur dial tone sounds so they cant hear you pressing like 8 buttons. /sigh
Now we just need to figure out how to short cut this so we dont have to press like 8 buttons to activate it.

Wow i never knew that when you hit options there is not a record option but when you go to the main menu and go to applications and voice recorder it will record what is being said to you and what you are saying thanks never tried that before.
You can also record your conversation as PCM and service codes for that are:
#*77261# PCM Rec Req
#*77262# Stop PCM Rec
#*77263# PCM Playback
#*77264# PCM Stop Play
sweeeeeet. Thanks!! I didn't know that the D500 can record lol
Hello I remembered seeing a code that automatically record a voice note for up to an hour until you type that code in again. I used it but now forgot what it was, I really need it so I can record inclass discussions without getting caught, teacher say you cant do it it was some thing like *278415#*<--(random numbers) or something like that, i dont know if you know it please tell me.
