what does reconditioned phone mean? (lockline replacement)

Just filed to get a replacement black v3 razr after having it stolen. Anyways they said they would replace it w/ a reconditioned phone. What does that mean? Does that mean it is a used phone that someone returned. If so can I expect to have problems with the phone later on down the road. just wondering. thank you

Used or broken phone that has been repaired to (hopefully) as good as new.

it could mean a lot of things....most likely it means that it failed some initial test and had to be "reconditioned"..it doesn't mean it is used, per se...like someone had it for a month or two and now you get it...many times they are just as good if not better than non-reconditioned phones - they'll have newer software on them...

Phones sent from Lockline are phones that have had all the parts replaced with new ones. Technically they have to call it a refurb because the motherboard is not replaced.
