Connecting My W900i Pls Help.

Hey there,

When i try to connect to the internet it tells me that i need to create an account ... here are the options and what should i do ...

New Profile:
Name ...
Connect using ... :
>> New Account
>>> PS data ... enter name ... APN: ??? Username: ??? Password: ??? or
>>> CS data ... enter name ... Phone Number/Username/ Password ...

What do i do here ? lol if you know what i just tried explaining please help ... should i just call up fido and ask them ? or wut ... thx

go to the Sony Ericsson website....set it up on the support...and they'll send u the setting over the phone. then u just follow whatever the msg tells u to do. fido wont help u so u dont have to bother cuz this phone is not cover by them.

to set it up , you choose ur phone model / service provider, then u add ur cell ur number and they send it to you on ur phone you click yes, and it sets it up alone, wap and mms

if u need setting for rogers they have it on the rogers forum...fido go to the fido forum

Internet setting for Fido sonyericsson w900i.
go settings -select connectivity - Data comm.
select Data comm.-- select data accounts--
add a new account - chose PS Data:
Name ur account: fido
Edit fido with this settings:
APN:wap.fido.ca
username:fido
Password:fido
Login requestff
Allow call:automatic
IP Address:none(blank,...).
Authentication:mark(none,pap)
Data compressionff
Header comprff

Then now go internet settings
select internet profiles
Name your profile:fido
other settings
Connect using:fido
use proxy: yes
Proxy address:205.151.011.011
port no:8080
username:fido
password:fido
