Hi Guys, I'm new to the forums and I just had a quick question about the 8125.

I'm switching off verizon to cingular primarily for this phone. My question is, is the wifi hard to set up? And, can you use the wifi and talk on the phone at the same time?

I tried searching for this but there's too much info to browse through.

I was wondering if there is a way to AUTOMATICALLY set the ring to vibrate using the info from my calendar?

My 2125 automatcally changes profiles during appiontments, but I would like the 8215 to do the same, so I don't have to remember to manual set the PPC to vibrate.

I had the same question and couldn't find a answer. I ran across a neat utility called PhoneAlarm. It changes profiles by time settings you input. It also has nag alerts. Extremely customizable. I am very pleased with it. Try is out. Just do a google search and you should be able to find it.

I need an urgent help with this matter. I appreciate in advance for your help.
My whole work revolves around emails. I frequently get emails from different associates, which are normally forwarded to them from some one else. All these emails come to me as attchments (with .eml extension). I am not able to download/read any of these. here is the sequence of email
from A -> b; B adds comments and forwards to me. I can only read B's comments and A's email is a .eml attachment.
When i tap the attachment, it says attachments will download next time you send and recieve. I do that, still no luck. Also, when i tap and hold, i see that the "Save as" is greyed out.
Here are my settings - I have " get full body of message"checked. and i have configured to store the attachments in SD card.
Anyone think of anything? I tried everything that could come to my mind, but not going anywhere. This is very crucial for me.

I hope I have posted this in the right place. I've been searching and haven't been able to find the answer to this question. Any help is appreciated.

When you lock the Cingular 8125 the clock no longer displays. My boss uses phone instead of a wristwatch. Is there any way to make the clock to display when locked? Is there maybe an application that makes the screensaver (the locked condition) be a clock?

I have SPB PocketPlus installed on my 8125, and under my Connections Tab I have the nice looking WiFi Icon that directs the device to the WLANSettings program that I found under the WINDOWS directory. I want to have a shortcut right to the bluetooth settings page, but I cannot find that program in WINDOWS or anywhere else on the device.. does anyone know where to find it or what it is named?

Just go to your contact list. Select a person and press enter... Then press menu --> Save to SIM

You would think that option would be there... Just tried it again...

There is not an option to "save to sim"
