Sorry I havent been able to get to the questions today, I dont know how much Ill get to play with it, but I'll try.

Also, here is info I posted about shipping related info on this thread for a reminder for those who either cant see theres a seperate thread for shipping or are just flat out not reading more than 2 pages of any given thread. Further posts about shipping related info on this thread are just going to get deleted without explination.

Keep this thread for meanigful and revelant info related to the features and operation of the 8125.

Also, thanks goes out to most members that are trying to comply with this, I appreciate it

"In order to keep the thread revelant to info on the phone instead of pages and pages of "has it shipped?" posts, this is what I feel would be best.

If you want to discuss feature related topics on the phone, post pics and reviews, please contuine to do so on this thread.

If you want to post information related to what a B2B rep told you related to shipping, order conformations, tracking numbers, who said what about when it will be shipped, shipping delays, ect, post it on this thread.

Keep in mind, all these posts are not making it easier for anyone to find the information they need, so if anyone has any better suggestions other than to simply cut back on posts that have really no informational value than please send them my way.

Please help me out on this as it would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks

    trip"

I think it would be good to know if the 8125 is offering anything different than the HTC Apache (i.e. Sprint PPC-6700, Verizon XV6700) such as any specific software additions like MS Voice Command or is this basically a plain vanilla WM 5.0 install with some Cingular branding for Xpress mail and such.

I think it was confirmed that 8125 does not have AKU 2.0/MSFP but just AKU 1.1.

I would also like to know how the reception is compared to other devices. A recent PC Mag review of the T-Mobile version of the Wizard complained about reception but that was on T-Mobile.

    PPC or smartphone?

Well my 8125 should be here by tomorrow. I'm wondering though, when downloading applications for it do I get PPC apps or smartphone apps?

I believe this is classified as a pocketpc one not a smartphone, but I may be wrong about that. Smartphone would be classified if you were getting the 2125.. I believe ...

Quick question, I plan on picking up a bluetooth wireless headset. Can anyone recommend one that is good? I looked on Cingulars site at the 2125 and they have the Motorola HS850 listed, anyone familiar with this one? Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have.

I've had an HS850 for a while now but recently upgraded to the H700 - loving it every day. You can read my review here:

Just got my 8125 at lunch today. Haven't had a chance to play with it much at all. Like others, I was surprised at how small the device actually is. I thought I might like the keyboard of the MDA better since the keys are separated, but this one seems to work surprisingly well. I had no problem feeling for the correct key. The keyboard was a little hard to slide out, but I imagine that will loosen with time. Haven't had the chance to test bluetooth, camera or anything like that. Will post more when I can. For now, here's a pic showing the size compared to my 7100g.

Looks great. Congrats. I would be interested to hear your thoughts when you get a chance to play with it. How is the reception compared to other devices? Any other software on the device?

    Congrats.

I'm going from a 7100g to hopefully the 8125 as well. Nice to know they're the same size.

    Slightly OT:

I notice you're running the Vodafone theme - that's the one I used to use. You should install the new Blackberry 4.1 OS on it, the icons, UI and other things are amazing. You also get more features that have been missing.

Let me know if you're interested, I can give you a link to download it. I'm running it on mine - it's a thing of beauty. Going to be tough leaving my Crackberry

    @ Hush,

Can you tell us what comes in the box too? You can post a pic if you want but you can just list it too - curious what actually comes with it.

signing up "MEDIA NET" for $19.99 can actually get complete Internet connection EDGE, instead of signing up for the Unlimite PDA/ Smartphone Plan for $39.99
