Shortcuts are now instant... no more two second lag!... I LOVE IT. The entire UI also seems faster, but I thought it was the usual "the UI seems faster becuase I just flashed and can't find anything else to say" case. It really is faster though

On a side note: Does anyone know of a seem edit that would shrink the text size down a notch? I've been playing with my old v710 as well (flashed that with its newest firmware) and I miss its smaller text.

Nice! They fixed the shortcut bug?
The trick around the shortcut bug was to use a 2-digit number for the shortcuts. With the orig firmware, the fix was to simply NOT use Shortcuts 1-9.
For example, instead of using "Ok 1", use "Ok 11" - this gets rid of the 2 second delay.
The problem with single digit shortcuts was that the phone would wait 2 seconds to see if you were going to press another number. So, when you press "Ok 1", it waits to see if you are going to press another number incase you want Shortcut 11 (or 12, 13, 14, etc) - even if there are no 2-digit shortcuts starting with a "1", it would still wait 2 seconds.

But now, I assume that as long as you have no shortcuts starting with a "1" (no 11, 12, 13, etc) then pressing "Ok 1" will launch it immediately. Is this the case?

Yesterday I posted that I had no intention of flashing my E815.

    My intentions are changing.
I suppose I could go to Verizon and have them flash it for me (I like to have them take the risks), but I hate waiting!

How about the bug with Pics being stored in the root of the TF card instead of the motorola/shared/pictures directory?
With Storage Device set to TF card, take a pic and store it.
Then connect your E815 to your pc via OBEX or USB and look on the TF card for the pic. Is it in the root or the motorola/shared/pictures directory?
... it is just that filling up the root of the TF card with pics causes the camera to become progressively slower when storing and whatnot (as more pics are added to the TF root).

    Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 95; PalmSource; Blazer 3.0) 16;160x160)

Its possible this firmware has the rest of the OPP profile. Enable seem offset 65/5 toget the menu and see if you can push off the phone.
If you really expect an interesting signature, look elsewhere ...
    - AT&T *really* amazed me, but their spotty 3G network lost me.

I would test all the bluetooth functionality if I could get it to work

I've been having this problem for a few days and if someone can help it would be much appreciated!!

The phone bonds it just can't find any services. The bluetooth dongle is a generic ISSC.

UPDATE: I tried the 65/5 seem edit and the "send" option comes up, but when you click it, it just goes back to the contacts screen... so it's not enabled in this firmware

Another thing worth mentioning.... the battery life seems improved (or the battery indicator isn't working lol). I've been trying to drain this battery calling 611 with bluetooth enabled etc. and it's still full after 2 hrs??... i'l keep you updated!

effortless, by far the quickest way to drain the battery is to use Mobile Web

I imagine you'll still hear the low battery beep on Silent - though my imaginations are rather irrelevant.

Not sure what that bug was... but I just said quick texts in obeymoto and it asked for a name and then presented me with the text screen. Did that not work before?

*considering I use them frequently I guess I never ran into that problem... people actually delete them

In any case, if no one else tries to see if this bug exists I will, but considering I use them and don't feel like putting them back in I'll wait a day or two.
