You need a Bell flash file to recover most likely.
Something which a few of us would like to see, but for different reasons.
I don't really have any ideas other than taking out the battery and then after replacing it, don't turn the phone on but use a data cable with a charging port to try to reflash that way. Good Luck!

the e815 has a very nice bootloader mode.

Take out your battery, then put it back in. Hold *, #, and the power button. A special boot loader screen will appear. Now connect your e815 to your phone and flash it again to any software you want/have.

*the beep on battery low is still present... however it seems toned down in silent mode.

What version of PST are you using and when do you see the error. Is your phone functioning as of now?

You can try to flash through the bootloader as well... see if that works

Seems PST 7.2.3 or RSDLite are your best bets when flashing EV-DO phones.

okay exact error that pops up is "unable to connecto to the subscriber unit. unable to get string descriptos." and in the error box on the bottom it says MA type 0 is not supported and chipset type 23 is not supported. what is that ?

I know it does that with versions earlier than 7.2.3. Uninstall the old one and restart then plug your phone into a new usb port so that the drivers from 7.2.3 can be reinstalled. It should do the trick.

I've used DUN about a half dozen times mostly just to play with it, once when my DSL went out for a couple hours, so no great loss.
Yes, I loaded my old mma_ucp/dcp files too.

No recriminations that I can see.

Ok guys, from what I can tell DUN is now blocked from Verizon's side, at least, thats how it appears. QNC works, albiet very slowly. Hopefully someone can find a way around this...

Both my DUN and QNC are blocked from verizon's side... Even when forcing the phone to 1x it still doesn't work.

Your qnc works with this update? Or do you mean with your own ISP?

Nope, QNC works for me, no outside ISP.
