I have officially upgraded to the new version. However, my xp computer will not recognize my e815 phone. Any help on what happened?

    That requires a seem edit.
I usually just do these 4:
    Offset 75 bit 5 - to re-enable TF move/copy option for 1.40.0R V710 and any E815
Offset 6a bit 0 - allows Bluetooth or USB file transfer in MPT for 1.40.0R V710, and also enables OBEX for the E815
Offset 62 bit 5 - shows the Pix Message Setup > Server Info menu, allowing alternate Pic Message server
Offset 6A bit 3 - Enables the Menu: Security > Data Connection - you shouldn't need this, but it has the 1XRTT Settings and Service Type (QNC, Packet, Auto)

I got the same errors you are reporting, plus the one above - upgrading to 7.2.3 fixed it.
Are you sure your are using 7.2.3? It should say it right on the title bar.
Did you try installing your E815 on a different usb port?

Some of the early E815's were missing the vcast icon under get it now. They had to have this file loaded on their phone in a local store. You shouldn't need it if you flashed.

hey guys, is it me or does the vibrate feel a little stronger on the phone now? i remember it being a little soft but now it feels as if it was kicked up a notch (not trying 2 sound homo lol) check this out on your phones and tell me if you notice a difference. Also my ringtones seem 2 be a bit louder as well (the mp3 ones) so check those out too.
    Sprint is gonna survive....

I don't think this is actually any different than the old firmware.

Menu +073887*, security code (usually 000000), then Web Sessions, Then Menu-> New Entry. Fill out the fields as required, and there you have it.

Interesting developments going on here. Keep it up, we might eventually get this Moto super handset to do the laundry one day

Gotta luv it, having mine since after Independence Day weekend and i tell you it is one tough cookie and a workhorse to boot. It gets put thru daily paces without missing a beat and after let's see now, 6 months? still yet to lose a single call due to a drop.

Freakin sweet. My own ISP went belly up during the Tornadoes outbreak here in southern Indiana back in November and i hooked her right back online immediately with DUN
Hows that for dependability in an emergency. Verizon's towers are scattered enough if one did drop there are plenty of others to pick up the slack.

does anyone know if websessions are fixed?

    Eg..

When you add a new websession on the old firmware, they appear to get deleted every time you restart the phone including the VZW mobile web session. As a result, obviously mobile web (the free one) doesnt work, and pix messagging doesnt work until you set up a fake server..even though there is no setting attached to this server.

Believe me, setting up a fake server was the only way to get it to work...even VZW reps didnt know why my phone wasn't working and i was on the phone with them for like 2+hours and in the store. SO i added a websession in without any info, just a name, and pix messaging worked again.

Anyone know if flashing will install the original vzw websessions again?
and more importantly, will it stay there and not delete every time i restart if i add another?
