You don't. Hopefully T-Mobile will add prepaid online account management soon, but they've been saying they will soon for ages.

Yeah, supposedly we'd be able to do this sometime around now.... I know "first of the year" has been mentioned.

Hopefully it will be here soon. Things are looking up, because on the My T-Mobile page they changed the text from:

Currently, My T-Mobile accounts are not available for T-Mobile To Go customers.
    ...to...

You do not have to login to My T-Mobile to buy Prepaid Minutes.
This suggests that they are working on online access for prepaid customers.

Not to dance around your question, but you can check directly on the phone if you dial *3279 and press send. It will make a call and an automated voice will tell you your minutes remaining. It does not cost any money to do this call. You can also check your balance on T-zones if you have this features (also doesn't cost $$)

You can also check your balance with #999# and send. You'll get a text message back with your minutes and balance.

Anyone know how long you have to buy new minutes after your current minutes expire?

...yea it didn't copy your quotes, but I noticed that too. And I heard the month January a few months ago. But January's almost over...

I believe you have to refill within 90 days after your minutes expire, to avoid cancellation of your account. At least, that was the case for me last year.

    Just my $0.02 worth,
    Ole.

You should never lets your minutes expire or you risk losing your account, and your phone number. Most people become a rewards member in order to get the full year before minutes expire. Then after that they can buy any amount of minutes and have it last 1 year.

And, if you are checking to see how much time your teen daughter has left after you bought her 1000 minutes that were supposed to last for five months, you can check via 1-877-778-2106 from any "landline."
