Help! problems with connecting BT GPS to P50

    Hi All,

I'm having problem trying to find my bluetooth GPS receiver Port on my BenQ
    P50.

The following are the list of equipment that I have at the moment:
    Hardware:
    1. BenQ P50 PPC Phone
    2. Rikaline 6033 BT GPS

    Software:
    1. Pocket streets 2006 (installed from the cd of S&T 2006)

    Background Information:

I was running Pocket streets 2006, and I've already assigned the Outgoing
Com Port in bluetooth to Com 6 (Only 1 available). And I've turned the
    infred-red function.

    Problem:
I can't see 'Com 6' in "GPS Config" (there are only from com 0 to com 9,
except for com 6) in Pocket streets 2006 2006, so I can not use the
nevigation function. (since the software can't find the BT GPS receiver)

Tried to connect with every single port available there, but got error
    message in return.

Have been trying it since last week. Nothing works. Perhaps some kind soul
will be able to advise me? Thanks in advance.

You must set an outgoing com port in the bluetooth setup - output to com6.

Once that is setup, you should be able to use com6 in all GPS applications (i am currently running tomtom, oziexplorer, gpstuner, navigon and visualgpsce from my P50 with a BT338 Bluetooth GPS)

    Unhappy

    thanks pjo

I tried doing this, but my Destinator PN 5 does not show COM 6 in its GPS settings option. Allother COM ports are available though.
