    I guess it is time for me to buy the cable. BTW, even though the phone is provider locked again, I still have one more password attempt (which I am NOT going to use) before the phone completely locks up.

    Maybe its a good thing too....once I get the cable, I can play around with the firmware

    THANKS!! The phone seemed to be locked to my SIM only. I tried inserting about 5 other SIM cards, and the phone asked me for the SIM Lock code each time.

    I called customer service and they asked me to enter 0000, but it didn't work.

    Your code does! Too late though. T-Mobile is shipping me a replacement phone.

    mine is 0000000000 (all zeroes)
    when I use the *#06#, the date my S100 was made (or whatever) is on August 5th, 2002.
    What does this mean?

    Sorry for the newbie questions but what good do these codes do for you? I understand the SIM unlock code you can use other SIM cards from different phones and carriers but do the other codes serve any kind of purpose that is usefule to me?
