I'm confused on the question. I mean the menuing system that I saw on the phone had labels for most everything... where did these come from?
1 - Profile Name
2 - Profile's home page
3 - Security Setting
4 - Phone's IP address
5 - Call type (Data for GPRS, ISDN for CSD)
6 - User ID (CSD)
7 - Password (CSD - optional, really)
8 - CSD's dialup number, if you put a 1 between the + and 9
9 - not a clue for this one
0 - User ID (GPRS)
* - Password (GPRS, blank on purpose)
# - APN Server name (GPRS server)
Samsung s105 (WAP+SIM Unlocked for Free), New Nokia 6610 (Given to sis)

s105 special: midlets via CSD - Successful
MIDLET DOWNLOAD via CSD Success Story
(excited so excuse the spell check and grammer)
I wanted to try using the new WAP to download
Midlets using CSD.
Before all the time I would get the WORLD icon
and of course it would be unsuccessful.
I did not want a T-Zones plan becaise I am not going
to be using WAP regularly but more so once in a while
for midlets.
- Credits:
- Rohitab - The man for the Hidden Settings Menu ( all you people with a data cable who did not give us the s105 firmware shame on u )
- day88 - for finding the settins that did work
You can skip to the end but for fruitful results read through:
#1
TO TRY day88s settings out i went to the nocharge.com site
and verified things over there.
#2 I used this code to clean up (even though I never had been able to get downloads )
*2767*JAVA# - Reset Java (Deletes All Midlets)
Heres the glitch - I used this before to ensure
that any attempts to download the mids are not
blocked by corrupt java memory.
#3
RESULTS:
- My Phone showed the Sand Timer graphic for a while
- Then blank screen
- Then went to the charging DUCK ( ie it powered down)
- After I restart - It shows FULL SIGNAL strength.
Searching...
NO SERVICE!
#4
Whats wrong ? anyone see this.. before cause no one on the forum said so..
POOF! I start writing this.
then Im like ok...
lets power cycle ( power down and power up once more)
Lucky me I have service again.
- Anyone face this ?
PS: I was charging the phone all throughout. (low battery)
#5
So now I enter day88's settings into the phone profile

- It will start downloading ( I had a very strong signal 5 BARS to ensure I had perfect testing conditions )
and show it in progression 10%... 20%... and so on.. wait for it to tell you.. completed
and "OPEN MIDLET"
- At this time I tried to open it it goofed up some graphics so i exited and got back in...

DONT TELL T-MOBILE ABOUT IT!!! hehe..
Let this not reach them so that THEY - use some kind of BLOCKER/Firewall on their network
PS: PEOPLE - Rohitab, dy88, Xception, mhalise, Melisande, StarfireCT,mrdan (LostOne), and all the people who I have interacted with
and have offered to help the community and done so... i have to say this
WE The s105/s100 MoFos are the BEST MoFos on Hofos ( MoFo - MobileFones ) hehe..
KUDOS TO EVERYONE .. and...lets get on with the outlook synch project with some open source CVS site. ( anyone volunteer to set that up)

Maybe I'm just hallucinating but *#DAIENTER* seems to have made some improvements in the sound quality.
I tried these DAIENTER/EXIT codes but I didn't notice much improvement...Anyway I have this stupid problem with my s100 - some people I'm calling say there's a problem with my signal, they can't hear me, others say they hear me just fine..anyway the phone shows maximum signal all the time, could it be a software problem, and if so is there some specific code you can key in to improve the phone's emission/reception (other than the above ones)?
*#9999*C# Registers (?)
*#9998*968# Reminder Tune
*#9998*NVM# Non-Volatile Memory
*2767*FULL# Reset Full EEPR0M (DON'T USE!)
*2767*CUST# Reset Custom EEPR0M
*2767*JAVA# Reset Java (Deletes All Midlets)
*2767*225RESET# Reset (????)
*2767*STACKRESET# Reset Stack
*2767*ZAP# Reset (???)
*2767*MEDIA# Reset Media (Deletes All Sounds/Pics)
I tried out the Forced Crash (*#9998*DEAD#) and SIM Error (*#9998*BRKN#) codes; they are safe
These codes may not be totally safe, here's a reason why:
Every single phone of a certain type comes with the same hardware (that's some novelty, eh? but even the slightest errors at the manufacturer's line can result in operating failures. That's why every phone is eventually re-calibrated in order to ensure normal performance. If someone's phone was re-calibrated because of weak signal by increasing emission power, resetting the eeprom to medium (standard) will cause loss of signal or no signal at all !...
I just entered *#DAIENTER# onto my phone and it stated DAI ON, I haven't really noticed anything different, can anyone confirm on the exact doings of this code yet?

I did the same thing and then I made a phone call just to check if it has something to do with audio quality but the sound was the same: then I entered *#DAIEXIT# and still nothing (except for the DAI OFF message on the phone). The only thing I noticed was that under the DAI ON state the signal went up and down more than usual when I moved the phone around...
