AAARGHHHHHH.... You know what i really hate? I HATE people who ***** about 17 cents or an extra 1.55 to ensure that they can get essential services like 911 and stuff. If they don't mind getting the **** beat out of them in an allyway when they come to NYC for the HoFo meet thats fine for them. For the rest of America I'd think you all wouldn't mind paying a little charge to make sure you can call 911 and actually have someone answer. And as for the 17 cents thread thats totally ASININE. Like if the guy can't make 17 cents extra he shouldn't have Nextel...he should be on a T-Mobile prepaid with a bag phone...lol. Some people are so stoooooooooopid. DAYAM. </flame>![]()

Looks like you have gotten the ***** beat out of you a bit too often.. Get some karate or boxing lessons and quit being such a *****.. 911 isnt going to stop someone from beating the crap out of you.. And what is this alleyway crap? How many alleyways are in the city nowadays? And why the hell would you walk down one anyway?Originally posted by Andyman53

The fact of the matter is that 911 is fine, you do get an answer within seconds and your call is dispatched to the appropriate agency (FD,PD or EMS).. If you cant get through its usually because of poor signal quality which is the fault of your carrier and has nothing to do with any 911 and the fees and surcharges we are asked to pay.. The next thing you *****ed about is tracing the phone.. If your not grown up enough to know where the hell you are maybe you dont deserve a cell phone..
As you hastly rushed to flame like the jerk you are, the post was about additional nextel charges.. Had you been an intelectual person who reads their bill you would see that Nextel already charges a 911 surcharge tax that is applied for 911 usage.. As already pointed out, my Nextel bill is overinflated with garbage already by 20%, so effectively adding 1.55 here and there will increase my bill.. After a couple of hundred of these service charges you will feel the effect in your pockets..
Fully understand what is posted before you open your mouth and quit acting like a complete idiot..

After reading your post, I dont think you either understood or read what he was actually saying. It appears to me at least, that you seem to be on the same side as him.Originally posted by Hypnosis4u2nv

Boy are you gonna get it if I'm right. :laughs:
Elaborate.. What exactly do you think he was saying?
"You know what i really hate? I HATE people who ***** about 17 cents or an extra 1.55 to ensure that they can get essential services like 911 and stuff."
The Federal Programs Cost Recovery Fee has nothing to do with current 911 services..
E911, number pooling and local wireless portability.. All these are developmental costs which they should absorb..
The post I put up was to make a statement, when are fees and taxes just too much.. $100 plan gets you an additional $15-$20 in added taxes and fees.. Keep giving consumers the bill for these service fees and it adds up.. Its never going to go away..
Seems like he was flaming the people who complain about the charge, not complaining about it himself.Originally posted by Andyman53

This is getting confusing even for me..
Basically he's flaming me for posting about the Federal Program Cost Recovery fee, which he feels is essential to 911 services and that I dont want to pay into these services.. He is completely incorrect on this.. The current 911 services we have (of which are being billed alreaded as 911 taxes) are completely different than the E911 that is currently being developed.. And because its something that is being developed and that Im not using, I dont feel I should be paying into it (at least not yet).. These charges never disappear, instead they continue to be piled on inflating your monthly cell phone bill which is what Im trying to make my point at..
And this was never directed to just Nextel, as I would assume that other providers would put this fee into effect onto their customers service contracts.. Which is why the T-Mobile rant was completely out of place..
I would of generally ignored this fool, but his comments were way out of left field.. Obviously he didnt understand the point I was trying to make with the post, which was not just about the $1.55 increase but the additional increases that follow that.. Currently I already pay an additional $1.15 service fee on one phone and this would be another added increase.. Effectively they are making additional money over your contract rate by juicing you with fees..
And where did 17 centscome from? I guess he was being sarcastic..
Im open to criticism, but he just didnt understand what I was saying..
Ok so this was carried over here from another thread? If so, carry on and...

Yes it was and thanks for the blessing Godfather..![]()
Well It was from someone *****ing about 911 and other Taxes. These things are beyond our control and when people assume we don't need them they're wrong. The gov't puts them there for a reason. They're paying for something. We don't have a choice about it. Period. The 17 cents was from ANOTHER thread from soemone who got the billing formula from Nextel and said that he was being robbed of 17 cents. No Sarcasm. T-Mobile rant was because Prepaid cards don't get taxed. And i'm not being a hypocrite...I HATE paying an extra 20 bux in taxes..but hey theres nothing i can do about it.
WOW.. I was expecting another irrational reply but you finally understood what I was trying to say.. And without ridiculing me and getting your point across as well..
I wish you would of originally posted this reply instead of letting it get to the point of flaming..
