    Nokia 6160 Wallpaper/resizing. Please help.

I've searched through some of the wallpaper threads here and can't find any help for this particular phone.

I'm using a Nokia 6101 phone. The screen size (apparently) is 128 x 160 pixels. These are the demensions of the pre-loaded nokia 6101 wallpapers, too.

So, I decided to try to make my own. No pixel size I've tried thus far even comes CLOSE to fitting the entire screen. I've tried 124 x 124, 128 x 128, 128 x 160 (odd) then I tried DOUBLING the pixel sizes, too. That didn't work either.

I've been at this for several days and can't figure it out. If anyone knows what I can do or knows the TRUE pixel size, PLEASE help.

    Thanks.

Have you tried using Gimp or Photoshop? Just set one of the limiting pixels of the phone as the new size.

    I've been using Paintshop...

What do you mean "limiting pixels of the phone as the new size"?

i just mean the phone display size 128x160.

If the pic is 800x600 set the new size to 96 x 160.

    OKay, tried that, didn't work.

    I took the same image, and made it three different sizes. 128 x 160 160 x 200 and 96 x 160.

For some reason, my phone resized all of them to 96 x 120. And none of them still fit the screen all the way.

    This is frustrating.

Ok, maybe something happens to the image while you transfer it to the phone.

What software are you using to transfer the image?

    Try uploading it here:
    http://www.wap.lur.nu/upload_en.php

and the download it through WAP here:

I'm downloading it through my t-mobile album, to the phone.

I don't know how to edit my WAP settings...
