It will not work for the iphones. Must be 3g or up device only. Boosters are free however you must sign contracts for each line on your account and meet other requirements, i.e credit and non apartment living.

No you must call CC. Oncd you are locked out only CC can unlock it.

Walmart mobile and your even more plus account are in two different billing systems. They will not transfer the balance. If you had a credit balance due to you, it will come in the form of a check.
Business Plan question.
I currently use my personal phone for my consulting business but I've got enough traffic on it that I'd like to get a separate business line with a new phone number. T-Mobile's small business offerings look good.
What are T-Mobile's qualifications for a small business line?
Also, are there a minimum number of employees or phones (which would leave me out as a sole proprietor)?
Thanks to anyone who can help.
My bf signed up a 2 years contract about 6 months ago for me and i got the blackberry 9780 with blackberry data service as well. now we're not together anymore so i want to cancel the contract. my question is how much does the cancellation fee cost on a smart phone?
thanks for your help
let's not be too haste in removing all remnants
of your life together-all be it too short.
if the plan suits you, then why not keep it? if you
don't have a current bf, share it w/ fam member.
do a 'change of responsibility', remain amicable.
I am about to switch to a business plan myself. When I have called to ask about details for these plans I have gotten slightly different info from person to person, but basically my understanding is that you can have as few as one line. The main qualification is that you have a federal tax ID number.
I'm going to switch to this soon but want to keep my number so will have to do a change of responsibility. Unless of course I could get retentions to give me the same plan features (basically, keeping the plan I have now but adding unlimited text/date for the same price) without switching. But I doubt that's happening....
For those who have the same question as me
" FOR SERVICE ACTIVATED, OR ACCEPTANCE OF A NEW ONE OR TWO YEAR TERM, ON OR AFTER 06/28/08, THE EARLY TERMINATION FEE IS: $200 IF YOU TERMINATE WITH MORE THAN 180 DAYS REMAINING ON YOUR TERM; $100 IF YOU TERMINATE WITH 91 TO 180 DAYS REMAINING ON YOUR TERM; $50 IF YOU TERMINATE WITH 31 TO 91 DAYS REMAINING ON YOUR TERM; AND THE LESSER OF $50 OR YOUR MONTHLY RECURRING CHARGES (including any applicable taxes and fees) IF YOU TERMINATE IN THE LAST 30 DAYS OF YOUR TERM. The Early Termination Fee is part of our rates and is not a penalty."

@MERLINER: everything had worked out. we're not breaking up anymore. but we still want to leave T-mobile anyways because of their awful signal and customer service. we're switching to verizon. Thanks to you![]()
I am currently a T-Mobile customer, out of contract and on a grandfathered MyFaves plan. One of my lines is still lucky enough to have T-Zones grandfathered in at $5.99/month. I currently have three lines and was thinking about jumping ship to Verizon Wireless, so I can get iPhones for two lines and a Galaxy Nexus. But I honestly do not want to part with T-Zones because of its unlimited nature and 4G speeds. I spoke with T-Mobile Customer Support and they mentioned the two lines can be cancelled, without contract extension if they are ported. But the remaining line will have to be reconfigured to an individual account and there would be no way to re-add T-Zones or retain it for that matter. Is that true? Or is there anyway around this?
If I could just port two (out of the three) lines and retain T-Zones, I will proceed this route. Otherwise, I am on the verge of just switching all three lines to Verizon Wireless.
Hoping someone can help me here. I am currently a t-mobile pay as you go customer and was using an unlocked Nokia e61i phone. I was happy with the service I was getting, I was getting t-zones and the last couple of months or so I was able to get full web access. Recently my phone died however and I purchased a Samsung Exhibit 4G. I was assuming my service would be similar but I discovered that I get no web access at all, not even ESPN.com which I got with the original minimal t-zones I was getting until I somehow got full web a few months ago.
Anyway, I called customer service and was informed that there's no longer any web for pay-as-you-go customer. Only options were to switch to a $2 or $3 per day option that gave me unlimited everything, or a $30 plan with 30mb and 1500 minutes, or a $50 plan with unlimited everything. I informed her these options are outside my budget, but I was willing to take the $30/mo option that I saw on the website that had 100 minutes and unlimited texting and web. She said that plan was only available to people who sign up & activate at Walmart.
Is there someone I can speak to that would give me a better deal? I don't want to pay $50/mo when all I really use the phone for is texting and web. Appreciate any help.
I have several phones from tmobile that I need unlocked. I used to be a tmobile customer about a year ago and I finally unpacked my phones (I am not in hong kong) and I have several smartphones and flip phones that I want to unlock to use on tmobile.
I called customer service and they said my account was too old to get the unlock codes. How does it work with tmobile and unlocking phones? Which employees actually process the unlock codes? It's obviously not the customer service department, from what I remember they submit info to some other department... Does tmobile have a specific unlocking department?
If anyone in here can get tmobile unlock codes please PM me!
hey, trax. from my understanding, phone(s) need to be in current use on t-mo
for at least 60 days. then call t-mo custcare, give imei(s), get request#(s).
unlock codes are provide to t-mo from manufacturer within 24hours. call them
back, and get the codes. that's it. unlocked all my htc hd2/7, nokia c7/e73.
tultraximo, you have to be a current T-Mobile customer (or have been within the last 90 days). Customer care submits the request to the unlock team who will verify that you're eligible for the code before completing the request. There are plenty of other sources for unlock codes though.
I tried to order the two phones (separate orders), HTC Amaze, online for the V-Day special. I got two confirmation number and everything.
They canceled one, without notifying me, and the other is still pending. But I am afraid they will cancel it too.
After 3.5 hours on the phone, I settled for a GX2 (free online only deal) for the wife, but they locked me out totally. I even got my WIFE to order it, and it locks us out. I got the AWESOME advice of going into a store (for an online only deal), after they closed 2-3 hours ago.
Online support/sales/post chat was of no help. Can't say they helped a little, because most reps either gave me canned 'i don't know, i can't tell you, or go to a store (after they look up and verify the are closed)' responses or closed out the chat session on me.
For every line/sentence, I feel this is appropriate...
...Times a million...
And please!!!!Thanks in advance!
My head hurts.
