Would This SD card work in a MPX 220?

Well im getting the mpx220 and i have this Sandisk 64MB card from a digital camera...im just wondering will it work? I have a picture of a 128MB one becasue i cant find a 64 one

The MPx220 does not use SD cards; it uses miniSD cards. The MPx200 did use regular SD cards.

Or you could get a bluetooth dongle for about $30 then you would be wireless. I got a 1 gig mini SD for $70 (loving it). Check ebay stores.

Just outta curiousity, what are you paying for the "Phone Wont Turn On Model"? I hope it is an outta the ballpark steal.

amazon.com 2Gb for £74.99 ($130) but remember that 4 months ago a 1gb was £65 ($113)

so waiting a lil while may bring a 2gb much cheaper.

is anybody actually using a 2gb in the MPx220, i thought about getting one, but some folks over on modaco had some problems w/ putting more than 1gb on the 2gb card...when they reached the 1gb limit, it just began giving the message regarding out of space (whatever that message was).

For the MPX 220 that wont turn on im getting it for 40 bucks shipped...is that a reasonable deal?

That might be worth it, just to play w/ it...you can always 'part it out' on ebay and recoup some of that that if you can't get it to work...but I wouldn't pay much more than $40-50 for a non-functioning phone.

If it's a hardware problem, like something is fryed or broken, then you'll spend (IMO) more time that it's worth getting it going, or having Moto fixing it...but that all depends on how much your time is worth too I guess.

i do I bought the one on amazon and i have had it up to 97% capacity with no problems or notices thats my tomtom sat nav 10 albums and 5 movies what else do I need.

cool, i was just curious, after what i read i just wasn't willing to fork out the $ for the 2gb and have to hassle w/ sending it back...a bunch of folks reported getting an error as they attempted to copy a file that would push it over 1gb...so dunno what that was all about...

i've been doing more movies on my smartphone, so a 2gb would be nice...a decent video quality file is a couple hundred megs, so 2-4 movies, maps, and a little music and i'm out of space currently.

What is your ROM version?

On the other hand, it is possible to fill the card by a card reader. And resource manager shows it full. But it is impossible for me to use some of them. It uses first 1 GB and ignores the rest. I can see the files but can't use.

My ROM version is 1.47
