I have used the Sony Ericsson PV700 Bluetooth headset for the past week as my primary BT headset so let's have a look.

Sound Quality
incoming
The incoming sound quality of the PV700 is average. It's not bad, but it's nothing earth shattering either. I found it to have a hiss in the upper volume ranges and it's a bit on the trebble side. I also found it a few notches to quiet for my personal liking when i'm in the car our outside.
outgoing
The outgoing quality of the PV700 was good.
It picks up background noise, but not to the point where what you're saying is completely drowned out. The unit itself in the wind also works fairly well. it's not going to be as good as a headset with a DSP solution, like the HBH 610, JX10 or Logitech Traveller for example, but for a basic headset it does it's job.
My callers have also said i sounded very natural and clean on the PV700. So that's a good thing worth noting
Battery Life
The battery life on the PV700 was good. I could easily get a day out of it when i'm hammering away. There are other headsets that last longer, but for my needs a nightly charge isn't a huge issue since i charge nightly anyway.
Call Handling
The PV700 has a varied assortment of call handling features, these are:
call reject: press and hold call button about 2 seconds until beep and let go
Mic Mute: volume + and - together quickly to disable/enable mic
Charging
The PV700 uses the new sony Fast port connector. But not the whole connector as that is quite large. It only needs the 2 charging pins and the one connecting arm. basically, it will use a full size SE Fastport charger but only need half
Size / Weight
The PV700 is your average sized SE headset. The folloing pictures should help you judge it's overall sizing compared to the W600.
The actual weight of the headset, according to SE, is 23grams or 0.8oz
Conclusions:
The Sony Ericsson PV700 Bluetooth headset is a nice little unit. While there are headsets that do more, these same headsets usually cost more. The PV700 does have one clear benefit though. If you're using a new SE product like the Z520 or W600, you will benefit from having the same chargers. PHone and headset. This comes in handy when travelling or when you need to charge in the car since the home and car adaptors will both charge the PV700.
PRO's
*Great size
*Nice looking headset
*Uses FastPort connector
*Very comfortable to wear
*above average incoming audio quality / loudness
*quality feeling, quality built headset
*MSRP of $79.99 is fairly priced
CON's
*No DSP solution
*hiss at higher volumes
*Fastport connector means new charger for S710a and prior SE users
*White / Limegreen look may turn some off

Forgive me if that was sarcasm, but I asked a pretty valid question. The headset has nothing to do with Rogers.
