How's that plan:

(customer for 4+ years)
$20/mthfor:

200min/weekdays
unlimited evenings & weekends 6pm-7am
1000 msgs
extended voice mail (no idea whats 'extended' there, but always had VM before too)
caller id
+ 1 month free (next)
+ some smallest data amount (forgot to write down details, but will call and check it out exactly)
NO CONTRACT! (hehehe that was my #1 goal actually, I will never sign any contract with anyone ever again with this crazy switcheroo that I witnessed in past few years between various providers)

Is this good plan that I 'worked out' after almost an hour long discussion with 3 different reps, or can I still find a better deal somewhere else?
(I still have time to cancel the whole thing, and I really don't want to make old Teddy more rich than he already is I was actually going to tell them to shove it in their ... when my contract ends soon, but somehow they talked me to stay lol... Never known Rogers to bundle data services or 1000SMS in a retention either.

You could probably do better on the daytime minutes, and 1 month free is a bit low.. standard offer is 3 months, maybe 6 if you're lucky.

oops...another question

I'm on the MaxAir25, I believe someone told me this includes caller ID....anyway, I know for a fact that I'm going to be credited for caller ID, but in terms of the discount, will it read as a "$5 credit" or "caller ID credit"....this might seem like a silly question, but i'm trying to figure out how much credit i actually have off the plan...they gave me a total dollar figure for my credits, but i'm trying to determine if this allotted total amount has to go toward my caller ID...

i assumed the credit was going toward the early evenings start...but i guess it covers call display? or would i need $10 worth of credits to make the abovementioned a $20 plan???

Just wait and see is all I can suggest. If you're paranoid about it., you could call in and ask...keep in mind., one rep may read your account properly., another one may not...so it's ultimately hit or miss. Even the computer could display your accounts incorrectly (in principle)...argh...just be patient, and see

with my $5 credit, does it make everything i listed $20??? Or will i need $10 worth of credits to make the listed plan a $20 one? basically, do i need a credit for both caller ID and early nights? or is one actually built into the $25 plan?

i called *611 and for some reason it's now the business centre for me?!?!? anyway, they guy had NO clue about my future plan and said that he can't answer my questions because it's a rention plan and forwarded me to customer relations...the rep told me that the $25 plan DOES include caller ID and early nights...so the $5 credit WILL make this part of my plan $20

for the 275 mins plan i dont think so with CID after the discount its 25 bucks...i might be wrong but im pretty sure....but just wait n see the way tht particular plan works out is tht they add the cid for 5 bucks and then give you a 5 dollar credit
