this plan is exactly what I need. is there a plan # or anything, and how hard would it be for me to get? I have most of that except incoming and LD for about $10 more... this would be perfect for me. any help would be appreciated.

Over the past few weeks, I spoke w/ about 6 Relation CSR.
The first CSR offered UL Incoming, 125txt & 100LD on top w/ a 2yr or 3yr contract depends on 200mins or 250mins. WOuldn't budge on the price of phone ($150 for W810i 3yr), so I started the cancellation process. NO matter what I tried, the next 5 CSR wouldn't add anything or change anything. In fact the 2nd last CSR made it worst, saying that he would combine the CID,VM,125txt into one $10 credit. So I would basically lose one $5 credit. (Instead of CD credit + $10 credit)
I was about to give up when I tried one more time today, basically to give in, since I can't leave this plan and number. The last CSR, a lady who surprisely has no clue about any 4GB promotion was helping me. Very nice lady but I know if I was going to get the best, it would be with her.
I said that I was very confuse by previous CSRs who told me different things and I didn't want to cancel at all. I told her I basically wanted to have two $5 cr instead of fixed VM and 125txt while still keeping a CID cr so I could change to other wireless essentials. She agreed. Then negotiated the W810i for $99 after 1 rebate and 1 $50 cr, wavied $35 fee. Signed a 3 yr contract.
My final new plan would be

$10 credit a month to cover VM & 125txt.
If I decided to take away the VM & 125txt, the $10 monthly plan credit still apply. So that's $15 + SAF and if I opt for evening starting at 8PM, I would be payign $10 + SAF + 911 + taxes

What I want most is the 1000LD for $5 though.
I recently renewed, and got a Nokia 6103 for no charge.

detailed billing etc.
W/E start at 18:00 for $56/month including SAF, 911, all taxes and then I get 15% bundling discount which brings it down to $47.60. The 1000 LD has helped especially on w/e and evenings when it doesn't cut into the 500 minutes.
Didn't have to haggle too much and just was friendly but firm with them. The 1st guy I talked to only could find 100 Cdn LD for $12. I told him that I was aware that there was a 1000 Cdn LD plan but he claimed he couldn't find it but he would pass me on to another CR if I wanted. The 2nd person was able to find it right away based in her words on my long term Rogers relationship and the fact that I have cable, and internet with them.
I currently was paying $20/mo, 200 daytime minutes, unl evening/weekend at 8pm, and rogers 2 rogers unlimited but no vmail or cid or text included. (this was a special plan)
my contract was up in dec, i have been with rogers for 4 years. I also have a Telus phone under the prepaid plan for about 4 years as well in my name.
Before my contract with Rogers came up, I spoke to Telus retention department, and they offered me $25, 200 daytime minutes, evening and weekend at 6pm, and cid, vmail, cfwd included.
Best of all on no contract, they will just migrate my prepaid phone into a postpaid one, and transf $100 of my prepaid balance toward my monthly service.
I called Rogers rentention, as i did not really want to leave and was hoping they would match this plan.
They offered $25/mo, evening and weekend at 6pm, 200 daytime min, CID, r2r (and the vmail for only the length of the contract) They would not offer me anything with no contract.
I called back a week later, the next rep offered me the same as above ^^ but for $20 but still with a contract.
I refused again to resign because I buy my own unbranded phones.
This rep also refused to do anything without a contract, she would not even add CID for free.
So i requested to cancel, and the phone is cancelled eff dec 30.
I was suprised that they did not offer anything without a contract to retain me. oh well..

You mean the standard EPP plan up until about a month ago? It was about as special as the regular olympics.

Do you really think Telus is going to give you an EPP *without* a commitment? LOL
Also, having them transfer YOUR money into your new account is nothing to be proud of since its something that they are SUPPOSED to do. I still dont like your wording...why did you specify "transfer $100 of your balance"? Are you implying that your balance was MORE than $100 and they are doing you a favor by screwing you whats above it?

Ok. Lets recap. They offered you the same but $5 less per month PLUS R2R. But, since you *use unbranded phones* you didnt want to sign a contract (youve already been with Rogers for 4 years so another 2 years (yes, two, since if it was on a 3 year then it would be 250min) probably would have been nothing to you) you cancel.
Good luck using your (or ANY) unbranded phone on Telus!
