I would suggest you get the following, as I know it can be done:
$17.50 - 200 dt minutes, 6pm eve/wkend - could get 100 bonus minutes
GRRF fee - depends where you are in Canada - say ~$2.58
1000 LD minutes - get it free - or $5 at most
$30 - 6GB data - get a $10 data discount
$10 - Retention VP - you will lose VVM
Total should be ~ $50 + tax
You should be able to get at least another $7-10 off.
This is what I got on the third call, second call the guy was an @ss, did not budge lower. The girl on third call was helpful by knocking $50 of my monthly cable/internet bill and upgraded to Extreme Internet for FREE from Express. It's easier for them to give you more things than lower the price deeper.
As for wireless this is what I got and think it's fair, better than iphone bundle plans, got confirmation numbers for both calls and all is set. Just looking for iPhone 4 32 Gb now!

Hey Guys,
Just ported my # from Bell for the iphone 4 and im beginning to think it was a bad idea with my seniority with bell. I was wondering if Rogers had a minimum tenure ( length you've been with company) in order to be eligible to a retention plan. I activated my line with the new student plan
200 day min
E&W 6 pm
My 5 Faves Nationwide
unlimited sms
500 mb data
---------------------
53+taxes SAF 911 INC

i asked about there VP and to my surprise clid is 8$ and Vp with voicemail and clid is 12$ i find it kind of steep. I was even kind of disappointed about teh 500 mb. So you guys think they will be able to give me a plan with a mere week of activation ( still withing 15 day gurantee and made sure havent used 30 minutes)...NEED THE EXPERTS HELP!! PLEASE !!! QUICK BEFORE SATISFACTION GURANTEE ENDS

It's not bad at all considering what they gave you. I suppose it really depends on what they gave you relative to what you need. One thing I should note is that if they are charging GRRF, SAF and 911 doesn't apply, so it's not really being 'waived'. Your voice plan being $12.50 seems like a $17.50 plan with a $5 credit...but this plan comes with 6pm evenings...
After some time I'd go for a $5 or $10 data discount.
