I screwed up last year - I got a year of unlimited calling (and 6 months unlimited data) last March on the base $20/month plan. In retrospect I should have tried to get the $50/plan and lock myself into that... I've been on the phone with a couple different reps and am having a hard time negotiating the plan I want now . Fortunately I got another 6 months of unlimited calling and 3 months of data because of a billing screw up... but after that who knows...
When i degraded my plan they gave me this retention, which i think is a corporate plan
$15.00/month + $0.50 E911 = $15.50 Plus Taxes
50 Anytime Minutes
Call Display
Enchanced "Corporate" Voicemail (as they call it on my bill)
Detailed Billing
Call waiting/forwarding/conference calling
System Access Fee INCLUDED
Plus $0.10/minute CND LD and $0.15 LD from CAN to USA
The i decided to give that to my mom and go with
$25.00/Month
100 Daytime Minutes
1000 Evening & Weekend Minutes
100 LD Minutes within Canada
PLUS:
Unlimited ROGERS to ROGERS
1000 Bonus Minutes of LD within Canada
+ $12 EVP
Okay, so here's the scoop. All help would be GREATLY appreciated!
I've been with Rogers for 2+ years now, but I'm not on contract anymore. I'm very interested in getting a SEW600 (HUP of course), and I'm also willing to sign onto another 2 year contract with rogers.
My plan so far is:
150 weekday min
Unlimited evenings + weekends starting @6pm.
$35/mth
+ Value Pack $9 (Text, VM, CID)
So what I'm asking is how abouts do I go calling Rogers to get the best plan I can?
Hrm, nevermind the above post, I just called and got this retention plan:
Unlimited local calling/picture/video messaging for 3 months
250 weekday minutes
Unlimited weekday + weekends @6pm
3 Years of free Caller ID
$7 value pack (VM/Text messaging)
+S.A.F + 911 = $45.37 every month.
The CSR also let me get a SEW600 for $150 (129.99 + tax)
Activation Fee waived ($35)
All billed to my account, no need to pay upfront.
Plus, she told me that because I was going out of the GTA for Uni this fall, I could change my # for free whenever I needed to. I think that's a fairly good plan compared to my previous one.
Just finished my 1 year of unlimited local calling
250 daytime minutes
Unlimited Evenings and weekends starting at 6PM
Call display
Enhanced voicemail
100 Canadian long distance minutes
Call waiting, conference calling, call forwarding
I think it's called the 1175 with some added goodies.
25.00 a month
250 Day time min
unlimted after 6 and free weekends
free enhanced voice mail
free caller id
free 200 text message
free rogers to rogers
and 15% off my monthly bill =)
