u cant get a deal like the one u have at bell as a new customer. thats why its called a RETENTION plan. my educated guess is that u should call back and hustle something else...i love ted. that is the end.

i used to have a RBC corp plan and then switched to a basic retention plan as of early 2005. some things got carried over, here's what i have now for $25/month:
- 250min daytime
- UL E/W @ 6pm-8am
- caller ID for the duration of my term (2yrs)
- per second billing
- UL SMS in/out
- basic VM for 1 year
now i'm wondering if i can call again cuz i haven't for a while now. ask for same amount of daytime min, but throw in the enhanced VM, caller ID, and R2R! i want R2R so bad! possibly allow me to add the $5 1000min LD too?! what do you think the likelihood of that happening?

I thought RBC employees had only the highest of morals, character structure, and honesty?
Having said that...this thread isn't a "what else can I get" thread. I have a feeling those types of threads will get locked down pronto. This is merely a post what you have-thread.
What I'd like to know is what tier is RBC, and also why in God's name doesn't the govt have unlim in/out sms like you do (if that was a carry over)

muahaha it always says i save $45 each month on each bill... total savings of $90 monthly... total $52 each month, $5 less then my $35 family plan but with 5x the minutes plus unlimited evenings... Gotta love retentions and Rogers keeping its customers...

..I am the HAPPIEST customer in the world. The above plan is a GREAT addition to my other line w. $25, unlimited incoming, 100 day, Campus calling, 1000 Canadian LD.
I dont think its a retention plan, being that I have been with Rogers since Sept 05. Just called and got this today from Customer Service(not relations)

A little History for Calling today:
Called at around 2:30pm, The Rep was not at all helpful when asked for the above plan(minus the R2R, didnt even get to it yet) and stated that I have only been with Rogers since Sept, and "Can not bend over backwards. to satisfy me", well she maybe right, but that was not a way to talk to a customer. Anyway, 20 minute wait and called again and got this really nice girl from New Brunswick and gave me the above. She was not just nice because of giving me the plan and more, but also very pleasent and appreciative of my businesses.
P.S I apologize did not mean to hijack the post, but thought that this was an important piece of information.
Anyone got something for calling to the USA? I got the $5 LD plan but it's only good for Canada and I don't need all the minutes that the CanadaONE RATE offers.
