hmm.. was just reading through my bill and realized that the plan I am gonna be having on the 1st of June (which I already posted here) wont really be sufficient for me... so I called in today and got this plan

Voice Mail Basic (+$5) ($5 Credit every month as long as I keep the plan and voicemail)

Total = 50+5-5+tax = 57.50

Kept the same contract ( no renewal)

call customer service (*611) ask them to transfer you to Customer Relations... and talk to them..

A lot of the negotiation depends on how much you spend per month, how consistantly you pay you bills, and how long you've been a client. Since you're no longer on contract, you definitely have some leverage.

Just ask. The worst they can say is no, if you do some basic research into what else is currently available, you'll have a lot of options before you.
