SL56 "Please enter phonecode"

I borrowed this phone from a friend who had no problems with it, she was useing rogers aswell...

So its not a lock problem unless im crazy, which is always possible.

The screen says "Please enter phonecode"

Whats the phones problem?

is it just a standard code? ive tried 2 simcards and have the same message comes up

I'm assuming you are trying SIM cards from same provider.

If that is the case, then it's possible that phone is set to accept that specific SIM card.
I think option is called “This SIM only".
If that is the case, just ask friend to put his/her sim card and disable that security feature.
