Anybody has any ideas of what is wrong.
    thanks
    Have you tried motomidman instead of going off of the flash card or using midway? Try motomidman and let me know what happens.

    it worked

    Hi, it worked. i dont know what the difference was now but when i clicked install this thing came up that said WITH JAD & JAVA ADAPTER, I chose that one, which did not come in the previous times i tried befor with motomidman, and it installed the games and i was able to play them, althought i expected better games like TOP GUN & GOLF THAT CAME WITH THE PHONE, you know good graphics sound etc, these were i felt cheap games downloaded from motomodders, shouldnt complain thought they were free. You know i did not even take out the Trans Flash card, i thought that was a bit weird, i had forgotten to take it out. Now where can i get some great games? i know is against the forums rules, right? anyways thamks a mil.

    You shouldn't have to take out the transflash card using motomidman. Motomidman will even read the transflash card. I can send you some of the newest games available if you pm me your email address. I have Superman returns, batman begins, mi3, prince of persia the 2 thrones, and some other cool stuff. Just pm me and I'll send it to you.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    -----------------------
    INTRODUCTION
    -----------------------
    In the beginning to install games used to be complicated as Motorola phone users had to manually seem edit there phones to enable their Java Uploader and other features. But these days users are making programs that allows you to simply check a box and your Java Uploader is enabled automatically . In this tutorial I will teach you how to install games like if you were installing it on your pc. With just one simple program: Motorola Midlet Manager. So lets get started!!!

    -------------------------------
    PROGRAM(S) YOU NEED
    -------------------------------
    (1) Motorola Midlet Manager ---> http://rapidshare.de/files/13861495/..._v010.zip.html
    (2) P2K Drivers (If you don't have them already) --> http://www.viceking.net/images/moto...ivers_WinXP.zip
    (3) Jad Creator --> http://www.viceking.net/images/moto...adcreator13.zip

    -----------------------
    INSTRUCTIONS
    -----------------------
    (1) Insert Cable to phone --> Computer.
    (2) If you have P2k Drivers installed already i.e. Add New Hardware does not come up when you insert phone to pc continue to step 5 else continue to step 3.
    (3) Unzip P2K Drivers to desktop or somewhere easy to access.
    (4) When prompted by add new hardware choose manual and select the folder you unzipped. (You may have to do this a few times.
    (5) Unzip Moto Mid Manager then Open it.
    (6) Wait for it to connect then go to Java Settings and make sure Enable Java Application Loader is checked.
    (7) Restart Phone
    (8) Go to Phone Memory in Moto Mid Manager
    (9) Click Install --> Using Jad file and locate your .jad java file. If your'e file is .jar continue to step 10
    (10) If the file you have is .jar you need to convert it to .jad using Jad Creator
    (11) Do this by opening Jad Creator and draging the .jar file over it. The Jad file will now be saved where the .jar files is. Now follow steps 8 & 9.

    try looking for a free program called jadgen as this will create a .jad file from you .jar.... it's only an address path anyway. then just put both files into same folder and load with midway

    How to install Java games and apps

    1. Go to Connectivity > USB settings and set them to "Memory card"
    2. Connect your phone with the computer with cable and go to /mobile/kjava
    3. Copy the jar file there and disconnect the phone from the cable
    4. Go to Java Apps and Games and choose Menu > Switch Storage Device > TFlash card
    5. Press one up (so you go to the very bottom) and choose "Install New App"
    6. Choose the app and follow the instructions (they are simple)
    7. Go to USB settings under connectivity, switch to Data/Fax mode and read the next note

    Ok,A very simple way also is to use this program named Motorola Midlet Manager(Midlet - An application installed on your phone).Download it HERE

    After extract the files in a folder and open MotoMidMan.exe
    After you are asked to install hardware using the wizard that pop's up.
    Just locate the drivers that came in the folder under p2kdrivers.
    Just keep installing for a series of wizards and then your phone will be detected and connected.
    After you will know what to do when you are connected.
    Just under phone memory click install,
    Locate the jar file you want to install from and then it installs.
    Always remember ,after installation of all midlets,RESTART your phone simply by clicking restart.That's it

    Apparently this don't work too well on my V235. Installed the drivers, connected the phone and created the JAD files, all was going well initially... but when it came time to enable the Java App Loader I ran into a little problem.

    It -did- get enabled, but directly after the program popped up with "Unsupported Platform. Can't continue." and then grayed out the buttons (Access, Install, Replace, etc).

    This site, as well as a couple others that I have found, gives a wealth of information about Motorola phones; but for some reason there is relatively nothing about the V235.

    All you need to do is add your software version to the configuration file of motomidman and it'll work.
