Bumping it up. Great promotion, lots of cool prizes and fun stuff to win! it said T-Mobile has done this for the last World Cup in 2002, this is the first year I heard about it. Has anyone seen the previous World Cup promotion? Oh just maybe it was a T-Mobile European exclusive.
This WC 2006 seems to be targeted heavily to the Hispanic market. Not one English advert shows this and yet for the last few weeks, T-Mobile "Recibe Mas" campaign is all about the World Cup. Makes sense and yes I do watch Spanish TV channels

Looks like during this World Cup promo, TMO has allowed prepaid users to buy soccer related games via T-Zones(I don't remember the ability of buying games on prepaid)
Bought FIFA 2005 to see if it would go through and it did!
Still undecided on which team I'll support. The two spanish channels(non-cable) in my area always have large blocks dedicated to soccer and NBA during the summer, one day I'll put effort into learning spanish(I only know French and German)
