    #+power = Master reset?

I just got a 903 yesterday, however the guy that sold it to me changed the master reset code of 9999 to something else, I tried calling him, but he hasn't picked up... so i did a search in Howard Forumms.. and came by one where evilgabbie said to #+power if the firmware is having problems. My firmware is running fine, i just can't send things via bluetooth which will eventually annoy the hell out of me.

He said it would rewrite the firmware... I'm just making sure he means it's the "master reset" I just got this phone and I dont' want to kill it already or get it reflashed!

also if #+power does reset all the settings will the reset code return to 9999 or the one the guy changed it to?

    thanks all!!

    # + power on works!!! It scared the crap out of me because it looked like it wasn't doing anything for a whole 10 minutes, just this big white screen, but then after it worked fine.

    Good to know that.

I got the Japanese test unlocked fw and don't want to accidently make a master reset -> several bugs (i guess you knwo that)

Although I hope this key-combination doesnt work at all with that fw I don't want to try that;-)

Well.. what I meant to say was:

As I really seriously have to avoid a "Master Reset" on my 903sh it's good to know that [#+power] MIGHT also have the same effect as a master reset.

I'd be glad to know it doesn't have the same effect... so if anyone knows about it, tell me please;-)

lol but really... you have to hold the # and power on for like a full 2-3 seconds, so i doubt you could accidently master reset your phone, it should be very deliberate if your holding those 2 buttons at the same time
