Will TELUS match my current providers plan if I switch?

I was just wondering. I have a sweet plan with Rogers (corporate) at the moment. My contract expires in 2 months. My question is...if I bring in a copy of my bill, so they can see that I DO in fact have the corporate plan w/ Rogers, will they match that plan if I choose to get a new activation with Telus? If they can do that...I would SWITCH in a second!! LOL

Any info you folks can put forth would be much appreciated.

well if ur rogers bill doest sate out the plan and u have id to prove that it is indeed ur plan then they will match it.

Yeah...my monthly statement has my corporate plan options listed on it. Will I need to show them my work ID or something??? lol

hmmm will they match it.. hm.... I've only matched high plans cause they were fedup with Bell but if its a tiny little 20$ plan.. i really dont think telus will match it

Unless you are part of the TELUS corporate eligibity list which all dealers have a list of, Telus will NOT match your plan. The simple reason is that only the loyalty and retention team at TM can offer to match corporate rate plans from other companies and Loyalty and Retention will not speak to a Non-TM client or I should I say a prospective client. Loyalty and Retention only speaks to current exisiting clients.

Nah they did for me. it was $20/mth 200 min unlimited weekedn and evening starting at 6 pm. All i had to do was talk to them then fax all the needed document or proof.

I think it really depends on who you talk to. I don't see why they wouldn't match the plan. It's still an extra customer. The profit margin may not be huge, but if matching a plan still gets you a new customer, then hey why not?

But then I guess you wouldn't want it to get out of hand and getting all your clients to be trying to get these "match it" plans.

Were you already with TELUS or a new client?

New clients are only eligible for the plans which are given to new activations. The only exception I can see to this are for business clients with plenty of units, and still, the corp reps are only bound to what telus gives them as selling tools.

i was with them fro two years then changed it into a match it plan
