Cool i870 call alert ringtones are too loud and distorted.

Has anyone noticed that if you set a .wav ringet that you put on the phone as a call alert ringtone it will be very loud and distorted? if you place the same ringtone as a regular Line 1 ringtone it sounds clear. I previously had an i860 and it didnt have this problem.

either your speaker is too loud or the ringtone you are using isnt great quality.

i myself dont use .wav nor do i use .mp3 ringtones on my i870 i just use the ringer1 default but as for my friends who have the i870 they have no problem what so ever.

it might be because theres to much bass in the ringtone....im having this problem with my 930 now. when i download ringtones and play them a part where the bass is is distorted, ive been trying to find a program that will let me take the bass out of the songs something like a eq but no luck yet

yea i know about the bass in the ringtones causing distortion, but this is a different problem, there is an incredible increase of volume from an incoming call, to a direct connect alert even if i am using the same ringtone and speaker, and line 1 volumes are the same. ive tried it on three different 870s and they have all had the same result. its weird as ****
