Motorola HS850 is best, it is very loud and clear. It opens and closes, when it opens it automatically connects to phone, and when closes disconnects. It is very benefical because you save battery life on the bluetooth headset. Nokia BH900 looks the coolest though.

My personal favorate headset is the Plantronics Voyager 510. It has awesome sound quality both inbound and outbound. The looks of the unit is nothing to write home about, but this headset is more about substance than style.

I have started to use the Nokia HB-200. It is not too bad at all and is a definite improvement over the HS-26W. It has pretty good sound quality outbound and the inbound volume is not bad, thou not as loud as the Voyager 510.

Next up, the Motorola h700. I am using the non "b" version. The inbound volume is pretty good, but the outbound sound quality is less than stellar. It is fairly low and the people I talk to using that headset complain about muffled sound and missed words during a conversation. The odd time I've received complaints of "feedback", where my callers can hear themselves talking. I generally find the Moto headsets to be more style and less substance.

These are the headsets that I am currently using. I have used many more and the "quest" to find "the" headset is always ongoing...

    Good luck.

i have a moto h500 and its fine.. i dont wear it all day. i also just got a plantronics 510 that alltel is going to start carrying. the sound quality on the plantronics is great and it picks me up wonderfully.. its freaking big though. other plantronics are not as big but i've never used them. I can only wear what we sell at work so I'm limited to a few options.

I bought the JX10 from a ebay seller and had to send it back because of the terrible build and sound quality. I just received the replacement brand new in the box with the plastic. The sound quality is still terrible. If my phone is more then 24 inches from the device it gets real staticy and it does not filter out background noise. I'm very disappointed in this headset especially since it had great reviews.

Thats one of the worse headsets Ive ever used! Terrible sound quality and very bad fit! Samsung WEP200 pwns all headsets!

My friend is getting a Sanyo Katana this week. If anyone owns that particular phone which headset do you use and how good is it? Thanks, Rose

I'm currently using the Moto H300, I have to say it's one of the best I've used as far as sound quality.

this cant count as a review since ebay has fake bluetooth headsets. as in almost all are fake. get your money back and get it from a reputable company

Not true at all. Ive bought numerous headsets on Ebay that were not fake. Actually Ive bought ALL my headsets off Ebay for much less then if I bought them at a store! Buy from a reputable seller on Ebay. Dont waste your money on a "reputable company" when you can get it on Ebay for half that price. Oh and BTW is Newegg.com reputable? Numerous people on HoFo have reported that the Samsung WEP200 headsets they got from newegg were fakes.

the moto h605 i had was ok (a lot better then the other moto's)

SE headsets are generally pretty reliable and solid.(hbh-300 rock solid, hbh610 was crappy)

Nokia headsets are really big looking and volume is low

love my jx10 but it's not compatiable with all phones.. some phones get major issues with the DSP. (did not work well with my d600) worked well with v3i, w900, w810i, sharp 903sh (ditch the hook and go get some cheap jabra eargels... makes performance much better (louder and clearer when it's in ear)

picked up a plantronic 640. excellent headset, sound in and out are great..downside not getting the best battery life.

haven't tried the 510 and don't plan to, the thing is just too ugly
does the jx-10 let you connect to more than one phone at a time?

    thanks
My thoughts are my own and not those of @lltel!

I ordered one as soon as they were released to match my old black razr. I sold it to a guy 2 days after it arrived, if that gives you any idea how little I liked it.

looks great, but I found it to be pretty useless since I couldn't hear a damn thing. the volume was WAY too low for use while driving or in any environment with the tiniest bit of noise. I wouldn't recommend the H3.
