you're going to ruin it for everyone !
If they did something like that, I would just not update my firmware...
If you commonly type the name iPhone as "Iphone" or "I-Phone"... or if you commonly refer to an iPod Touch as an "iTouch" or "I-Touch"...... Then you deserve whole bottle of habanero hot sauce poured into your eyes!

What crime would that be, being an Internet meaniehead?

There's no criminal copyright infringement, copyright infringment is a civil matter.

and what makes you think Sprint would tell you that the firmware includes that change??

They'd say it also fixed something else, you'd download it because its an update... and boom. no more.

so lets just keep this thread going as long as possible so sprint can see.
EVERY carrier has its pros and cons. If there was a perfect provider, there would be no competition because everyone would have them. Its pretty cheap to mock someones carrier. They chose them for a reason (as did you with your provider).

Don't pay attention to the a-holes. It's not old news to everyone so don't feel bad. They're just pizza faced kids looking for an opportunity to flame with the lame, "Welcome to last month" Please, that's so tired and retired. LOL

Bah, what's the point of an online forum if you can't have a little fun every once in a while.

It is old news in "tech terms", but not that old in "everyone else" terms.

/btw, not a pizza-faced kid looking to flame.

So I guess your not going to mention anything about that source. Like say who's it is.

Just out of curiosity have you figured who you copied from? It's kind of funny, and I think he's laughing too?

so lets just keep this thread going as long as possible so sprint can see.

That is why I don't jump right into FOTA updates. I let other people on HoFos and SprintUsers be the guinea pigs. I am sure that if Sprint did pull something like that, there would be dozens of threads about it in a matter of seconds.

    PAM reboots my phone

I've searched threads and haven't seen this problem come up.

I have a brand new (April 19th, 2006) a900 on the SERO plan. I did not buy Phone as Modem. I'm testing to see if it will let me ftp jpeg images from a Pocket PC.

    I disabled NAM

I created a bluetooth connection between the phone and PDA

When I start to ftp the jpeg, my phone says "Attention: Connected as Data Modem" Then in a few seconds the phone reboots. It powers off, then back on by itself.

Anyone else run into this? any suggestions? Are people still able to PAM on the SERO plan for free, or is it over?

you will only get PAM free for a few months, sprint will see your larger data usage and cut you off
