ok, someone needs to get to work on the Monster flash for this phone because I'm really missing the ring profiles!

If you want to be adventurous... try flashing the K1m Alltel flash on the L7c and see if it works... another person flashed it with the VZW K1m Monster and it took... He later followed it with the L7c customer upgrade and he got everything but vcast music working i believe.

(the reason he flashed to the VZW Alltel K1m flash was cause he tried doing the custumer upgrade on his metropcs L7c, but it resulted in a brick)

Well when you plug the Krzr into a computer, it recognizes it as a a K1m/L7c, so im guessing maybe this might have something to do with it?

If i had my hands on one id flash it, but i dont.

I've never flashed anything before so i won't be screwing around with software that isn't specifically made for this one. When a few more knowledgable people figure out the kinks, i'll give it a try.

Was invited by my buddie to visit his store to check out the SLVR. Gotta say, looks like it's going to do better than the Razr for durability. The screen is nice and bright, very sharp. The keypad looks the same as the Razr, but dose have a sighlty different feel to it, which is welcomed. I didnt really notice any UI lag, didnt have much time to mess with the phone since they where closing for the night. I quickly took some shots and video with my limited time with the phone. Its gonna be a nice phone for those who dont want flip phones. The only think I personally dont like, is that the ringtones and speakerphone is much softer than what im used to.

I've had mine for a week and didn't notice much UI lag at first, but now it's really starting to bother me. I push buttons and things don't happen for longer than I care to wait...Come on someone get the MOTO UI flash already!

The one thing i have seen with moto's is if the txt inbox and outbox dont get cleared after 100 messages, it starts seriously slowing the phone down. Ive seen my nephew with 3000 messages in his razr and it took 5min to bring up his contacts X.x

That's exactly what it was. I had them set to auto delete, but they weren't deleting. So i cleared them all myself and it's significantly faster now. I still want the Moto UI because that one DOES auto delete, i like being able to see the words on the bottom of the screen when i'm texting, I want to be able to see what ringtone and alerts I currently have selected and i want my F'n RING PROFILES!!

Glad that fixed ur problem. I agree, dosnt change the fact that the VZW moto s/w is buggy as all hell. I wonder when verizon will learn their UI idea is sunk and go back to the sw from the manfs.

When Verizon management fires the engineers that realized this is the best job security in the business.

What, you think engineers are stupid enough to crud up phones for no reason?

Question for those that have this phone on Verizon:

People that use this phone on other providers complain that the speaker is not loud/clear and that speakerphone is likewise.

Is the Verizon version the same?
