Ok so i got mine today...i got mpt to work, but it doesn't have an option for file transfers..also p2k doesn't see the phone...any ideas? i need to put my ringers.pics/vids on...thanks

See this post. Also, have MPT detect it manually as an L7cm so that you can transfer pictures that way. (Ringtone transfer won't work w/ MPT)

ok i got pics and videos..when the phone loads, go to tools, then MMT will be there...i iddnt think the tones would work that way..p2k wont work for me...how did you get tones on??

I KNOW they don't work that way. That's why I referred you to do it with P2kcommander. Download the latest version, and save it to a folder name with no long file names... eg C:\P2k ... you need to have either PST or MSU running in the background with all the p2k interfaces/drivers loaded. Also, kill any running tasks that aren't essential, 'cause sometimes they interfere with P2kcommander.

Try rebooting, and starting in safe mode... see if it works then. It's finicky.. it didn't work for me at first either, but then it suddenly did... not sure what the issue was. It might just have been that I exchanged the P2k interfaced drivers to the new ones from the moto drivers set. For obvious reasons if P2kseem or PST doesn't see the phone, re-install the drivers... once you have PST working, P2kcommander should work fine.

My NE2 is up and I'd like to get this phone but I think I'd like the black one better. They're site only has the silver, do they offer the black version? I've seen the VW black version on other sites but I want to use my NE2, any way to do this?

The black version is not available on Verizon... other sites are mistakenly using press photos from Motorola. I doubt the Black version will ever be made available since they took too long releasing the L7c in the first place.

Wirefly was actually selling the black version. Go back through this thread, and re-read, b/c some users got the black version and it's VZW stock.

I must've missed those posts... at any rate, the indirect I got mine from told me that there was an SKU for a black L7c, but that it said out of stock (this was a few weeks ago now)

I don't have IN anymore, so I couldn't check... but right now 22 inbox, 14 sent.

Yes it does...WAY MORE. I had about 200 in both my inbox and my sentbox before I realized that it wasn't auto deleting them. However, having that many texts was severely slowing down the phone.
