I've been using the VZW version of the phone and put together a mini review:
Pros:
Great screen, even visible outdoors
VERY loud ringer
clear calls on both ends, good volume regardless of face side used
menu system quick enough for me
clear bluetooth through borrowed Jabra headset
great signal strength
very thin, but heavy enough not to feel fragile
very strong vibrate function
Cons:
keypad small for big paws (I will sell mine because of this...many misdials just like with the LG8600)
stopped at a few Verizon stores and authorized dealers. The authorized dealer told me they just got in their launch packet the other day, and said usually 2 weeks after that. The woman I talked to at the Corporate store had no idea what the Slvr was, but I did have to show her how to use one of the phones she sells (heaven for bid you have product knowledge). Stopped at a Circuit City and a Best Buy. Best Buy didn't have anyone at the counter to ask, and Circuit City told me they have not received any info yet on this phone.
I really want to get this phone. I want something smaller than my V. I love the V, but its just too bulky for me to carry around anymore.
April 1st and the price @ verizon is 119.99 minus $50 MIR with 2 year contract. This is off what the lady at the VZW store said/showed on the computer.
I just ordered mine off of ebay from "thewirelesspro." I emailed back and forth with them over a few questions and they were really really quick to reply. It should be here in the next few days, I'll post pics when I get it.
I figured it was cheaper to get it this way rather than waiting for verizon to get it in because I have to pay full retail and I'm pretty sure it will be more than $220 from them. Also, I couldn't wait! lol.
I figure that eventually there will be a monster out for it, otherwise I think I'm fine with the vzw interface for now. I think I'm just really sick of flip phones.
Anyone else take this route? Also, anyone know if there will be places that sell the casings for them so I might be able to change the color of it (kinda like the Razr).

I got the same information my local VZW store today. Not about price, just about release date. I've been calling local stores since last week and none of the corporate stores knew anything then, but the ARs told me to call back sometime next week and they would check the next shipping invoice to see when or if they are getting it. They better hurry up because my 710 has decided that it only wants to ring sometimes and if the SLVR doesn't come out before I lose my NE2 $100 I might have to go for the Q.
On the L7c, anyone know how to increase battery life by changing EV/1X to only 1X setting, I don't need the Vcast features. Tips much appreciated. Thanks.
