lol, i checked it out before i came on hofo
Just thought I would share some of the headlines you're seeing today at Pocket PC Thoughts...
"SanDisk Introduces 4GB and 8GB SD and MiniSD Cards"
"Virtual Keyboard Causes Blindness"
"Registry Hack Turns Smartphones into Pocket PCs"
"E-TEN Pulls Firmware Update Due to Ghosts in Camera Application"
"Microsoft Voice Command 2.0 Released"
"Palm Announces Treo 700d, Features MS-DOS 6.22 and Legendary Simplicity"
Go beyond yourself. Go BeyondtheTech.
I saw those headlines this morning, though I didn't read the articles themselves. I'm thinking: Hmm, that's pretty cool that SanDisk has made such a leap with miniSD storage capabilities. All those Wizard owners are going to be really happy.
Then: Wow, someone went blind due to the virtual keyboard?! Lawsuit! And: Microsoft released Voice Command 2.0? Awesome! Though kinda weird for them to launch a new product on a Saturday.
But then I got to the headline about smartphones turning into Pocket PCs. This doesn't make any sense, I thought, smartphones do not have the touchscreen required for the Pocket PC version of the OS, and no registry hack can get around that fact. Oh, wait, what date is it...?
Note: If you need support for your HTC device, please contact HTC Customer Support. I am not a support technician and will not be able to help in most instances.
Yea, its too bad they are not real...Would have been a great day, oh wait it's April Fools Day
the one i almost fell for was the voice command update -- i was like finally, but then i read it and then
