Let me ask.. Has anyone used any of my black themes and if so do your bars display black as the site shows or do they default back to grey? Just curious.. Thanks
I've not tried the black ones. I actually like the gray better. I also read that the reg hack needed to make them black can leave the reg values even when not using that .tsk. These eventually "could" fill up you registry. Not sure how legit that is, but I've never tried the black ones, regardless. Thanks again
BTW, I would like to use your vista phone dialer as a template to make several other dialer backgrounds (to match other vista .tsks). Would that be ok? And, is there any advice you can give to make it a bit easier? Thanks

Sure... You can use them... I can also give you some advice to help you along, but the process still remains a bit tedious. Do you use Photoshop? I would say PM me but it is a lot easier for me to communicate over gmail popped to my 8125.. paulya808@gmail.com

No, I forgot you use photoshop. Hmmm....I might not have the time, money to invest in it for just this purpose. I've used MS Paint to change colors and such on previous eten dialers but I've never changed backgrounds and buttons. Thanks for the help. I'll look into photoshop before wasting too much of your time
Thanks for the advice. Downloaded the Vista .tsk with black bars, flipped to that, and it worked. Flipped back to the one with the green bars, and it worked as well. Dunno why, but I'm all good. Still don't see the carrier logo (unless I just delete the file, then I get "T-Mobile" in plain blue text), but I've stopped caring about that.
I have never tried Gimp but Macromedia (Adobe) Fireworks is another great program with a 30day trial. It is also a bit easier to learn than Photoshop..
Yeah, I read your posts on pdaphone and it's probably a bit time consuming for me right now That's ok. I'll get it one of these days. I just wish I was good enough to throw a pic of my kids as the background with the transparent dialpad on top. But, I know it's much more complicated than that.
