***Confirmed - SanDisk 1Gig TransFlash/MicroSD will work in Samsungs***

With the release of the 1Gig TransFlash/MicroSD, it has been confirmed by owners of the following Samsungs: SGH-D600, SGH-D807, SGH-D820, SGH-T809, D900, SCH B250, A920, A950, SPH-A800, and others that use TransFlash/MicroSD cards.

Though other brands have come out with their own 1Gig MicroSD cards, it is not guaranteed that they will work in every Samsung. It is recommended that the SanDisk brand is used since it is the brand Samsung uses in their tests.

I don't see it explicitly mentioned so I'll ask before putting down the cash:

Is the MM-A800 able to address the full memory of the 1GB card as well?

Can anyone confirm that the T809 will recognize this card as the FULL 1GB?
Or, is it going to be limited in any way? I've been hearing a lot of rumors that it works, but you're only able to store 120 MP3's on it!?

They are not rumors. It does recognize 1 whole gb (minus a little for formatting of course)

Where you are mistaken is the media player on the phone is what's limited to 4 playlists at 30 songs per playlist.

I meant for the Card Memory status as such (with my now-dinky 512mb card):

Well, since no one here knew, I just went ahead and bought it.

Soooo... I can confirm that it works in the SPH-A800.

YEAAA!! It works great in the T809 and here's a pic:

I just uploaded two complete DVD movies, at around 350MB each, and STILL have plenty of space left for music and whatever! This card is GREAT! The only drawback is the audio is out of sync with the video in these movies, but I blame that on the fact I haven't really played around with the encoder's settings.

Now, if only there was a battery replacement that lasted a LOT longer than the default one does. This phone is definitely not for watching movies...well, unless you plan to have it plugged in all the time. If you do that, however, you won't be able to use the earphones!?

    I can confirm too.
    I just installed the SanDisk microSD/Transflash 1.0GB from newegg.com - $50!
Works like a charm on my T809.
