I just called what I believe to be the main COR store in my area (Beacon St., Boston), and they don't have it, nor could they give me an ETA.

I just called a store in Houston and they say they have the phone in.

Hrmm..is this just for the 3g areas? I wonder if any of the louisville stores wil get any in, or if I will have to wait until phone sales gets them.

I'm sorry if I am being a complete noob with this but, what exactly can you do with this phone (in layman's, non technical terminology please)? I have always been ignorant with technology but have recently started getting interested in expanding my knowledge. I figure if I'm am going to spend $250 + for a phone, I might as well know what it can do. I went to the store to look at the D807 and the rep started to show me this phone (it was the dummy only), and it seemed interesting and felt good when open and against my face, unlike the d807. What else can I do with it? Thanks a bunch,

I called 7 stores in the "Silicon Valley" area. 1 said "Haven't heard of it" till I pushed, then she checked some paperwork and said "Oh... here it is, it'll be out on the 15th. If it's a hot phone, we'll have it before then but can't sell it till that day". 2 said they know of it, and don't know when it's coming, and three all said it'll be released on the 15th, and likely available on that day. The final one said nothing about the 15th, but said they expect to receive them tomorrow.

I just got back from the store I called earlier in Houston. I bought the phone. It is 149.99 after MIR. Also, the rep told me they were only selling it in 3g markets. He also told me that he was supposed to start selling it on Saturday....

I started my razr, 2 year contract in November so I have 1 year and 4 months left. I don't need another line at $10 a month so I wil be paying full retail.
