Thanks alot...I have the 850 and never had a disconnect problem with my V710 or V3C.
This is random and not meant for velopirate it's been said nicely, but "RMPL" has been over used. I think it's better just to not answer that person. I know I have searched for hours to find an answer....and sometimes I don't. The search function leads to countless pages of researching. A few months back I forgot the code to get into the "service menu" I had to read through posts and pages for at least 45-50 minutes.(what a waste of time...that's what happens when you get old).
Sorry for the rant, but I try not to post unless I've exausted my search and "wasted" too much time looking. Most of these posters look to you guys for direction. They don't want to mess something up. Also they may have read 26 pages and did not realize the answer was on page 27 and now they posted on page 50...get what I'm saying?
looking forward to the 04 software being posted (I'll go to 02 then 04)...I want OBEX!!!
Acts 17:27
"His purpose in all of this was that the nations would seek after GOD and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him-though he is not far from any of us"
By the way, there is absolutely NOTHING in the Constitution about "Separation of Church and State"! This is Fact!!
Article one was to keep Government out of religion, not Religion out of Government!!!
Just found another irritating feature of Firmware .02 and .03 that was fixed by Version .04:
Previously, if you had a contact with ONLY one number and it was stored as Mobile 1, when you would say "Call JIM" (for example), the phone would ask "which number?" even though there was only one number listed.
With version .04, If you say "Call JIM", it just dials Jim's number if Jim only has one number and if Jim has more than one number listed, then it asks "Which Number? and lists all the possible numbers under "Jim".

Apparently the 57th St location has it.

Now if I can get it to recognize when I say "call Home"....it replies "call Linda?"
I say "no"....call "Jim"...I say "no"....![]()
I guess I'll have to rename "home" as "Homey the clown"....but that would be a little embarrasing calling home in front of a customer.![]()
Any VZW stores have it in the DC Metro area? I called Bethesda, Rockville and McLean to no avail.
Thanks.

The speaker dependant voice recognition on my T608 is far more accurate.
With the V3c, it's well worth going into the voice recognition settings and "training" it for your voice. I found it's is now far far more accurate by comparision.

I just called and then went into the Camarillo, CA, Verizon store and got my RAZR flashed from .02 to .04 after I flashed it myself from .03 to 02. I will try the OBEX when I get home. Anything that I should know to avoid the usual disappointment?

Never argue with a stupid person. First they'll drag you down to their level, then they'll beat you with experience.
I went from 02 to 04 today, no "P" in s/w ver. Everything (MPT etc.) still works as before and improvements are numerous. Orange screen has to GO.
Because BT is supposedly fixed, I ordered H700 today, hope it's as good as people say.
BTW, I thought only digits are trainable?
That's all I've ever been able to find...Originally Posted by magellanstar

Seem 275a, Rec 0001, O/S 0027, Bit 0=ON/OFF

The Oxnard Store may be playing "dumb" (not hard for them I can assure), but they claim to have the software but are unable to flash becuase they "do not have the right plug." C'mon!!Originally Posted by MobileMadMan
