    he has not denied it yet.....
    Acts 17:27
    "His purpose in all of this was that the nations would seek after GOD and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him-though he is not far from any of us"

    By the way, there is absolutely NOTHING in the Constitution about "Separation of Church and State"! This is Fact!!

    Article one was to keep Government out of religion, not Religion out of Government!!!

    .04 posted here enables OBEX on .03 phones.

    The .04 posted on this site enables OBEX. I flashed my wife's unmodded 3 week old Razr w/.03 with it (.04) and BINGO had OBEX BT file transfer working.

    Definitely did not have it before...

    The only problem now is with VM notifications, as discussed here and in another thread.

    Okay, I too am experiencing this glitch.

    Tested for the VM bug. I didn't get the message 2 out of 4 times. Since my phone is pretty much always on, it won't really affect me much. If you turn your phone off, you might want to wait for the next update.

    LOL - As opposed to not waiting?

    What choice do we have?

    Am I the only person that has noticed there is not a funlights.pat file int he ringtones when you browse using bitpim or other. Anyone think we can have funlights on our phone now? Anyone figured it out already?

    This question comes up every now and then. No one has gotten them to work yet, but there are some rather long threads with people trying - I don't have a link, but I'm sure a search for funlights in this Motorola forum will find them.

    They are a sort of flashing ringtone - they make the lights on the phone flash when the phone rings. Sounds like fun, eh?

    But do "fun lights" even make sense on a flip/clamshell style phone??? When it is flipped closed, one could do all sort of funky things with the backlight LED's, but no one would see it.

    I want to flash my V3c from 02 Firmware to 04. Checked both Mark Venture's site and HoFo's: http://wiki.howardforums.com/motorol...User_Interface
    as well but both seem to be aimed primarily towards flashing to Alltel's (lots of Alltel-specific steps are scattered throughout the instructions) which is quite confusing for someone who doesn't want/need Alltel's.

    Has someone put together a VzW-only Fleshing walkthrough?

    just use this step and sustitute the verizon firmware for the alltel in the instructions:

    * Extract the Alltel firmware to a directory on your computer.

    * Open Windows Explorer and browse to the c:\Program Files\Motorola\PST directory.

    * In that directory, locate the executable MultiFlashFlex.exe and open it.

    * In the window that appears, in the lower portion you should see your phone listed and a Connected verifying that the application can communicate with your phone. If it does not, troubleshoot the PST application further.

    * In the top box Flash File Name – click on the browse button and locate the Alltel flash file you extracted from the downloaded archive file.

    * Then click Start. The flashing will begin. You may also get a message that says "Unknown Super File Version. Do You Really want to flash the Devices?" Just hit ok.

    * In the beginning of flashing, computer might ask you for flashing interface driver, direct to where you downloaded and unzipped the V3C PST drivers

    * If using 4.04 flash file and you do not flash successfully the first time try a second time, that should correct any problems.

    * When the status lists Successful let the phone restart and wait until it has fully restarted and you see the normal screens – this may take 2-3 minutes.

    You MUST perform a Master Clear/Reset as follows or your phone book will be corrupted

    * Perform a Master Clear - \Settings\Initial Setup\Master Clear

    * Perform a Master Reset - \Settings\Initial Setup\Master Reset

    * If it asks for a security code for each reset step, try 000000

    * Restart the phone – power off and back on

    You have just Flashed your phone!!

    I recently flashed my phone with the Alltel 4.04 flash do I need to flash it to the Verizon .04 flash? Or should I just leave my phone the way it is? What is someones opinion?
