they made it so that you can make the missed call alert go away by pressing SEND instead of going to the missed call folder.

It's like a shortcut and is better...but I'd still like to view it on the outerscreen with the smartkeys.....oh well, next fix I guess.
    Thanks for the info...

I got the upgrade today. It only took a few minutes. The menu is faster. My blutooth headsets still sound like crap.
    Time for a new phone.

[QUOTE=bruinfanjb]I found the same thing after I updated to 01.15.04P this morning. After playing around wiht MPT for awhile, I changed the phone back to V3C from V3CM and everything seems to be working fine now in MPT.

I did not lose any of my images or ringtones that I had previously transferred to the phone prior to the upgrade.

Of major importance to me is the ability to update the calendar with MPT. Resetting the phone to V3c from V3cm has done what? Provided a "calendar" choice on MPT where there was none before? If so has it functioned to update the phone's calendar from outlook? Has the time of the appointments been the same as on outlook or are they as reported by one user 2 hours off?

I can't tell you what the difference is with the calendar function since I don't use it so i never tried it before updgrading. When I initially went into MPT it was grayed out and after changing the phone from V3cm to V3c it appeared and I could click on it. Beyond that, I don't know what it will or won't do for you.

do you know if mac software is transferring data with the phone using bluetooth obex, or is it transferring data via bluetooth using the modem commands. these two, although using the same medium (wireless bluetooth), are not the same.

with obex, all you need is the bluetooth driver, no other software is needed. with modem command, you will need MPT or similar software.

Mac uses OBEX. It's not possible to use modem commands over Bluetooth in Mac.

Well, I meant for file transfer. You can still tether your RAZR to your Mac.

You used to be able to do both teather (bluetooth modem) and OBEX, are both no longer possible with 04?

    jstene,

please post a screenshot (or just confirm by a follow up message) similar to

    http://www.howardforums.com/showpost...56&postcount=1

using your 04 verizon razr. If you actually see this screen, then we know without any doubt obex is working on 04 razr.

    thanks
