If you mean the button at the top of the left side, it is for playing and stopping. You have to hold it for a couple of seconds to get it to do anything.
No, he means on the end of the headset cord, where the microphone is. If you press it on an incoming call, it answers. Press it again, and it hangs up. Best part is if you have any voice names recorded, press and hold that button, and then you can say the name to be dialled. That way you don't have to take the phone out of your pocket.
