hmm ok just a quick question...when you get a new phone with new battery do you first use up all the battery and then fully charge it for like overnight or something? or charge it right when you get it? which helps keep the battery life longer eh?

i have always first used it to totally kill the battery then charged it atleast 12 hours after.....never had a prob ...and for the first week i charge it every night when i go too bed even if its the battery is not needing it...and it seems that pattern gives the battery a better full charge , almost like trickle chargin it or conditioning it to hold the most per charge

Will it be possible to listen to MP3s over a Bluetooth headset? How about the FM radio?

You know, I looked again at the list of profiles and though I see the headset profile, I do not see A2DP. This probably means that you couldn't listen to a stereo bluetooth stream, only mono. Thus using a stereo bluetooth headset would be useless with this phone. That's a bummer

Usually you charge it all the way, make it go completely dead and then you're free to do whatever.

Got mine just now, but it is going back I am afraid.

In summary:

It's a lovely handset. Feels a bit plasticky when you move from a V3i (but then again pretty much everything does), but well made, light and good looking handset. Nice finish to it (sort of dappled/rubberised).

Internally seems to be much like a Nokia 6280 - great UI: fast, intuitive and functional. Reception and call quality/call volume also seem to be good in my building which historically is a tough spot.

Trouble is - the camera won't work. Keeps saying "operation failed". So I am sending back to the vendor, and asking for a replacement or my money back.

Shame - it's a really nice handset if you like Nokias and clamshells. Good step up from a 6230i.

I don't see any message lights on the outside. It just says 1 message received etc...

One thing to note - It has a new charger which is smaller so your nokia chargers won't be of any use to you.

I just checked my tracking and mine as of 1:20 am was in Memphis TN, it is supposed to be delived today at 10:30am but i am doubting that will happen!

Guess what? i have a really bad luck.. package was supposed to be delivered today, I just called Fedex my package got delayed in Memphis, no delivery today nor tomorrow. I am so mad!

did it come with a US charger or a foreign one? i just notice since they're sending from HK might have a HK charger for it? bleh i need to find my adapter just in case haha
