So what is the difference then? I know their SAR rating is difference for some reason at least.

Also this phone has been released in many EU countries already. Still not an online review yet? ( i mean the 6131 )

about the flip... does when you flip it open, does it lock into position? that is probably the best way i can put it but i'll use other phones as examples.

phones that DO NOT lock into position:
    nokia 6101, motorola v300/v600/v635/t720

phones that DO lock into position:
    SE z520, motorola v3, nec 840

Hmm weird. The t720's and v3's that I used don't do anything differently than the v300 or v635 that I had owned. When I open any of those phones they stay open unless I close it. And they don't take any more effort to close either..

Anyone have the link to the FCC approval? Sometime pretty good pics on there, but the engadget link doesn't work...

im not saying it takes more effort to open/close the flip, but on non-locking phones such as the v300 and v635 when you flip it open and then put the phone against your ear to talk, the pressure can still push the flip open a bit more resulting in somewhat of a squeaky noise. on locking flips such as the v3 and the z520, the flip gets locked when its fully opened so theres no way you can push it back any further and hence no squeaking noise.

I think SAR values are somewhat variable depending on the setup, the calibration equipment, the test equipment and what the engineer had for breakfast that day I wouldn't read too much into the different SAR values as long as they are less than the minimum requirement (which they are). In any case, they weren't all that different anyway.

You haven't seen any reviews on the 6131 from overseas becuase the phone doesn't go on sale until next week.

I hope that the 6136 dont turn out to be like the 6270,with all kind of issues.

Is the Nokia 6131 and the Nokia 6126 the same phones?

Does it support listening to MP3s over a bluetooth headset?
