The nokia 6131 and 6126 are the same phones one is the for Europe the other one is for the Americas. The only difference i think it's that the 6126 doesn't have infrared connection nor Radio, but i am not 100% sure. Does anyone know when any of these 2 phones are coming out and where can i buy them?

I've got my 6230b, my 6682, and am looking forward to adding this phone to my stable. I've found I don't really use the features of my 6682 as much as I thought...to tell you the truth, I don't really do anything on it differently than I did my 6230. I wanted the better camera. The one thing I will miss about it is LifeBlog.

according to the draft version of the manual submitted to the fcc, the 6126 has both IR and FM radio.. so who knows.

soif the 6131 is going for sale this week in Europe, does anyone has any idea how to get a hold of one of those if I live in the U.S . Would people in ebay will sell it ?

Nokia press release from 4 May announced that it was being shipped to European stores this week, so it will depend on the country and the network, but it should hopefully be available in Europe over the next week or so.

Then it will hit eBay pretty quickly.
Here's hoping for a quick UK release. Some say 8th May (tomorrow) but I'm not holding my breath...

ppl are saying the absence of IR port and FM radio in the 6126 is nokia's way of making the phones cheaper for the north american market.

So if I bought the 6131 version, it would work with Cingular? If the 6131 version has more features than the 6126, then I would rather take that version.
