Joystick mod for ALL Sony Ericsson joysticks! (pics of the new one!)

Hi guys, I'm not dead, life has just left me with little time for making joystick caps or visiting the forums. I will make more soon, though, and I'll respond to everyone that has contacted me. Possibly next weekend, but no guarantees.

I'm interested in this for a K790a, I have a quick question to those of you with this. This just fits on top of the regular joystick (with a hole to let the original go through, as far as I can tell from the pictures), but how well does it stay on? Also, is it difficult to remove (and does it damage the phone at all)?

I get the very occasional misread of the joystick movement with the cap - but its much better than the amounts of misreads you get without it.

Plus it just feels nicer on your thumb - like it has somesort of resting place.

Wow. I bumped this up a second time and was worried I was the only one who didn't have this mod yet.

It fits very tight from what others in this thread have stated. You just pop it on over your stock joystick. No glue or anything.

I don't know if you got the PM, and maybe a few others here might be having the same problem but... The little orange rubber in the w800's joystick is wearing off, a very tinny amount but I see it's started. I believe you said that the k750 and w800 had different joysticks. But can you make one of the solid metal joysticks for the w800? I wanna stop the rubber from wearing off.
