P2K connection help.. Have been looking for weeks.

Hi.. I'm in the uk and have a v3, I have been trying to connect my phone to p2k tools for weeks now but have no luck. It will connect in the AT mode but when I try to connect in p2k mode the connection is lost. I have been searching for help on this for a few days now but with no luck.. My phone also won't connect to p2k commander, I have installed all the drivers.. Can someone please help me.. All this just to install some new skins on my phone : )

    Many thanks

V3i not connecting to P2k Seem Editor

I bought a fully unlocked RAZR V3i. The is a seem edit I need to make in order to get my voicemail working properly. I know the seem edit, the problem is I cant connect this phone to P2K. V220 which is also USB connects fine. I also got the V551 connected with no issues.

Does anyone know why P2k does not read the V3i?

Ok.. So.. What I hadn't found in any posts about this connection problem was that I had to have Motorola PST installed to get P2Ktools to work.. I have now got PST and everything is good, having fun recking my phone now

Hmmm.... it should work without PST, but I can always try that as well. I just found out that there is a USB connection option that I want to play around with.

I will let you know how it goes.

Oaklandm, you are the man. Immediately after installing PST and running it once, my P2K established a connection. Thanks for the tip!!
