The stock 128mb Nokia MiniSD card which came with the phone.
Just now, when I was listening to some music on the phone, it freezes and that annoying buzz noise starts again- arrgh!

OK, I tried reformatting the memory card and removing the battery from the phone but to no avail. Will have to get it RMAed![]()
Is this really an isolated incident or is this happening to anyone else here? I'm really at a crossroads here- I like this phone but it's a pain in the butt to have such an annoying problem and I want to know if I could save myself some misery by buying something else.
Thanks
hmm don't have any of those problems, but i do have a couple of my own. 1st one is that when i use the video cam and have the storage set to memory card, the timer doesn't count down, but when i change it back to the default folder it counts down. 2nd one is my wallpaper changes to the milky white background after i have changed the battery or memorycard and turn it back on. anyone have these glitches? btw, fw is 3.65
I tossed mine when I purchased a 1Gb San Disk MiniSD, which has worked flawlessly. It takes a few moments for the Music Player to read the data when I open it but, after that, it's great.Originally Posted by duranduran
BTW, my firmware is still V03.53 RM-56 15-11-05.
I have the same problem as 03 P5, but what about this problem I am using a 2gb mini sd and when I putting my album in the memory the only way is with the pc suite after I made different playlist if I want to erase a playlist that I do not want I can't, the only thing I can remove is the mp3 track no the playlist. Every time I try synchronize
it won't remove the playlist that I do not want even that I remove the tracks from it. Is there is a way to make playlist without using the pc suite. I try everything possible.

Could that be because the phone records video up to the capacity of the memory card? (Not sure if it does or not, just a suggestion).Originally Posted by 03 P5
thanks for the suggestion but i dont' think that is the case, like i said on the post, it counts down when i use the phones memory for storage. i guess its just one of the glitches of this phone, no biggie though i was just curious.
Yep.Did you try pulling out the battery and letting it sit for awhile?
Whenever I try to access any of the message folders the phone will lock up. Also, the folders display the message count alright, but upon enterring them the message headlines won´t show. And this is with the SIM-card not inserted. With the SIM in the phone will just try to send the message and reboot itself.Did you try deleting the message from your Outbox?
Hmmm. My final suggestion would be to insert a different SIM card into your phone, power up, and try again. If the phone works OK, then you need to change the SIM card which is causing you problems due to either a corrupted message or possibly it's just a damaged card.Originally Posted by Petter156
If a different SIM card won't work, I'm out of ideas, and you probably need to take the phone into a Nokia Care Centre for service. Good luck!

Thanks Alcatraz... I took it into service. Should be about 1.5 weeks. I just hope they don´t scratch that beautiful aluminum. I´ve managed to keep it in pretty good shape.

Can someone help me? Everytime i check my voicemail my phone says that i have a text message and when i open the folder theres a text message and when i open it, its blank wtf?
This seems to be an issue for everybody using this phone in the US. As of now there is no fix for it, the only hope is that at some point there will be a firmware update for it, until then, we just have to live with it. I look foward to the day that a fix is found for it!
