well i been having my 6270 for about 1 month now and i have yet to get a major bugg. Just the minor rebooting about i shoot a long video or look at my pictures too fast but no big deal. Also i cant tell when i have a voicemail but other than that it decent people trip out when i take it out. Mine was made in Germany if that counts..

finally got my 6270 back which is flashed to fw3.69 , just recieved it this morning so i can't tell you all the differences, if any. if you guys have any requests for me to try out on the phone, let me know, i'll do my best to test it and get back to you asap.

Well I dropped my 6270 on a carpet for the very first time and while it still seems to function as it did before, the top portion now rattles in the closed position (only when pushed on the right side). The sliding is still smooth and it is solid in the open position.

The rattle is damn annoying though. Next time, I am definitely going with a candybar phone. Sliders (and for that matter, clamshells) are slick-looking but their durability just stinks. The thing is wounded from a carpet. A paved sidewalk would probably put it on life support.

I downloaded Opera Mini, when I try to use it will open the application... but when trying to go to a URL address - it will say " Application Error "

I don't know who your provider is, but the info in this thread got me up and running.

oh and also, dont follow the directions at the top as they aren't very concise imho. If you scroll down there are some posts with a little more carrier specific information.

Is nokia 6270 a2dp compatible phone. I know from the phone specs that it can broadcast music via bluetooth, but I have not tried it yet, coz there is no available BT stereo headset. The phone's manual did not categorically specify the phone to be a2dp compatible.

No. I tried it with a Plantronics BT stereo headset. Mono sound only.

I have been using for a while now and just wanted to mention that I really love the SIND on this phone. It seems that the phone is more accurate at recognizing names the more that I use it. It seems that it now recognizes almost any name that I use the first time I say it.

It almost seems like the phone has some automatic training function. Or maybe the training is just on my part!!

Has anyone else noticed this or is it just my imagination?!

I tried it on my N6280 and the sound quality is terrible!!! I have no idea why though......i've never heard of anyone complaining about the ht280 headset

its not the headset its the phone, it doesnt have a profile that allows stereo BT
